Obamacare passed years ago. Stop trying to stop the government, or refuse to raise debt ceiling or any of these other annual tactics. This is one of many reasons why you keep losing elections.

Just put on the Klan sheets, admit you have a problem with darkie and anything he's trying to accomplish for the next 3 years. Harness you rage of the black man and move on to actually doing something productive for the economy/jobs/citizens to show you deserve to be in power again.

My feeling is that the Republicans in Congress pretty much ran on stopping ObamaCare.

So they SHOULD be doing everything they can to represent their constituents.

There are lots of laws that have been changed and overturned in history.

Theoretically the Republicans are doing exactly what they should be doing in representing their districts.
Same as Democrats are supposed to be doing.

Of course it's all theory...they are ALL a bunch of crooks filling their pockets.

While I understand that, I often times must concede your point that the politicians no longer really listen to the "citizens" and only lobbying groups. Some examples of this would be issues of gun control, gay marriage, decriminalizing pot, among other issues that despite popular public opinion can't get passed.

That said, what have the Republicans accomplished in 2 terms of the black president? Fought him on everything, stalled government, threaten to crash the economy with debt ceiling, stop the government annually.

Feel free to chime in with that they have actually accomplished for 'the citizens' in the better part of 5-6 years now.

Last time the republicans played their silly reindeer games with the debt ceiling, it crashed the Dow 17% and in the end they basically caved in. While I agree with you on many points about regulation and laws passed by chicken little's who seem determined to take away more freedom for a nanny-state.... Is it worth it to constantly cause these tidal waves with the economy, credit, businesses, consumer confidence?

I don't think so. There are many other things this country needs that should be a priority over Obamacare nonsense.

1. No it's not wrong to try and reform healthcare. But healthcare prices were never reformed, forcing everybody to buy insurance doesn't address that. Matter of fact, the administration gave the Big Pharma and Medical Corp.'s guarantees at the beginning of the process that they could continue to charge U.S. citizens 4 and 5 times MORE than any other country on Earth.

Last weekend I went to the Reagan Library. He was a liberal Republican. When he got reelected, only one state didn't vote for him.
They had the Lincoln Exhibit, the first Republican. A lot of what he did would be considered liberal.
