why not they govt has lots of laws when it comes to the work place, if you want to be treated like a real industry then you need to accept govt regulations just like all other industries.

They would look like dick heads once again, but maybe you'd get the right eyes on the cause instead of putting up a couple lame ass videos for an hour that no one is going to watch.

Idea 5) Wear condoms and stop your crying. It worked for Wicked. Why can't it work for everyone else? I hate them as much as the next guy, but I also hate wearing a helmet when I ride my motorcycle, but I do it.

I loath condoms. In fact, I'd burn down condom factories if I knew I could get away with it. I also hate for the government to meddle with my life in any capacity. However, you have a valid point about the work place. Hard hats, safety glasses, safety shoes, and whatever work related safety rules others have to abide by, it's part of the job. And if Porn Valley had been responsible in the first place, this probably would not be an issue. But when you try to hide test results and have actual numbers of STDs that are through the roof, it's only a matter of time before you are going to be regulated.

Nope, it is putting safety first. My uncle died on a job site a few months back because he did not follow safety rules. A decade before that my father was permanently disabled after a 15 foot fall with the same company.

"Career"? This isn't 1970. Girls get paid $1000 maybe $1,500 a scene. The only girls with long "careers" are the ones who have their OWN sites and make their own rules. And it isn't their "workplace" in any sense of the word. It's usually a nice hotel room and a nice bed or couch to have sex on while you get your picture taken and you are filmed.

A lot of these girls are strippers/escorts who shoot porn too. (nothing wrong with that at all) The TRUE workplace for many of them is the local strip club.

And most of them make more money escorting in a couple of days than they do in all of their porn shoots for a month.

Shooting a scene is almost a full day thing for a girl. Takes up most of a day. They can make the same money in an hour escorting and make a few hundred dancing in the club at night which includes drinking and partying and having fun.

It's alarming how more and more people could care less about STD's. For a long time in the gay community it was "play all you want, but wear condoms." People saw what HIV/AIDS did to people.

Now there is this false perception that the meds make you whole again as long as you take them. People don't talk about the wasting, that it's easier to get sick in other ways and other gross stuff. The younger generation coming of age in the last 5 or so years have only heard about AIDS. They don't know anybody that has died from it. They haven't seen the suffering. They think that you can tell if someone has HIV. Or they assume that their partners are clean and they can trust them.

So what's going to happen is it's going to start up again. The gay community finally wasn't the largest group with new HIV/AIDS infections but the younger generation is going to start change that, IMHO.

Even DWB admits he doesn't like condoms but he acknowledges the risks present today. It's one thing to make an informed decision such as DWB does (and I have been guilty of myself). Robbie just keeps pretending it's all overrated. Maybe you just need to see HIV/AIDS first hand to really understand it.
