I believe it's a first amendment issue and the govt. has no place in people's sex lives.
And I don't care to be treated like a "real industry" by the govt.
That only means the govt. will step in and interfere with my livelihood more and more.
The more that lawyers and govt. get involved, the more headaches and problems for everyone concerned.
And also...keep in mind that this condom law b.s. in California has nothing to do with anybody in the govt. having ANY concern for us EVIL porn people's health.
The ONLY reason that they are doing it is to try to hasten the demise of the industry. The AHF is trying everything it can to shut us all down.
If you had been at the XBiz awards a couple of years back and saw those religious idiots protesting with signs outside the awards show it would open your eyes.
They don't want the porn industry to EXIST in Los Angeles. Has nothing to do with using condoms. They know that mandatory condom use in L.A. will destroy the industry there and it won't be able to compete with non-condom content shot all over the world.
It's bad enough that we the people have somehow allowed the govt. to invade our privacy in every way: They make you pee in a cup, draw your blood, they are trying to make it legal to take DNA samples from us whenever you are arrested or pulled over....and now do you REALLY want to let them tell you that you have to put a piece of plastic on your cock when you are fucking?
None of this is what the govt. in a free society is supposed to be doing. They are supposed to work FOR us. Not be our lords and masters.
