I joined the ROTC in college and that's as far as I got before realizing that lifestyle with people barking orders at you wasn't my cup of tea.

I think arabs have a natural fear of dogs. I don't know why. But every time I order a pizza, I have to pass the money under the door or something. As my dog barks every time our doorbell rings (not an angry bark), they are absolutely fucking terrified. It's the same thing even if it's a different guy delivering the pizza. 100% of pizza delivery guys are arabs though.

I'm not kidding, even if this post seems like a joke I think they do have some sort of natural fear..and you can see that the guy in the pic is absolutely horrified.

The site says the rest pics show the prisoner in the ground bleeding by the attack of dogs. On the last picture the prisoner is wrapped and sits on ice.

It's good the pics become available to the public and they dont get covered.

The thing that makes me leary of some people, all they care about is political agenda. All they care about is getting Bush out of office, and pitch a fit even if he farts the wrong way. Then once Kerry gets in, they will paint him as a saint and look the other way no matter what he does. That kinda thinking scares me.


I look at things from a more rational middle of the road view. I think most people really cant understand the underlying issues of the western world vs the extremist arab world. But just want to bitch for political reasons and not really care about the issues.

Is that really the bare minimum moral equivalency guideline you think american soldiers should be held to? They're OK to do whatever they want as long as it's not quite as bad as what Saddam did? That's a pretty pathetic minimum standard. As part of duty and service to America, we hold our soldiers, and our soldiers should hold themselves to the utmost standards, not simply standards that are just slightly less horrific than the standards of Saddam himself.

I agree Military is rough,and getting orders 'barking style' or getting orders at all is not everyones thing.

Still no-one without firsthand war-experience should try to judge these soldiers.

In a situation where you are in the very first line of 'seats' you don't care too much how this will make your country look like.

Even if there is the Geneva Convention,when you are there yourself and you've seen the things these men went thru theirselves things change a little and you realize that only these men down there have the right to judge their actions.

You see many things different when you had the experience yourself.

War is not a nice thing and no-one will return being the man he was when he got there. It changes ppl for life,even if themselves do not feel it or realize it the first months they're back.
