Fact: Russia is facist state, Putin is close to repeat Hitler's fame
I'm Ukrainian and i see the situation from inside
The whole Russia's state is built on propaganda. They are using provocations and brutal force to solve issues in country and abroad. If World War III is going to start, Putin will be the reason of it |
|
Bullshit, Putin just protect Russian interest.

OK, now what?

Opinion.
as in... You've confused fact with opinion. |
As a Russian I never liked Putin, but comparing him to Hitler and calling my country a fascist state... :disgust
P.S. I believe the OP is deadly drunk and tomorrow he won't recall what this thread is about. |
Why is it always when someone is on the opposing side they are run by the next hitler, a fascist and going to start world war 3?
If lawyers went to court with arguments like that they would never win a case. |

in East Ukraine 60% are Russians and East Ukraine was given by Chruszczow for free so don't compare Poland with Poles in big majority |
I think it's standard operating procedure for most national land grabs or at least influence grabs - "We need to protect such such people", often communities who are ethnically and culturally related to your own. And Hitler had that perfected to a T - it's got nothing to do with the Holocaust - in the late 1930s he was all about expanding under the auspices of bringing ethnic Germans back into the fold. Czech, Poland, Austria, etc. And it totally worked.
So I don't think Godwin's Law applies here, in the 20th century Hitler was the one most known for this strategy - no sensationalism needed. Georgia *may* have shot first in that war, but I don't believe for a second Russia wasn't doing everything they could to destabilize and encourage a pro-Russian separatist movement in Abkhazia and Ossetia. Which Georgia fell for hook line and sinker. I have a feeling Ukraine is in for a mess, we'll see how it goes though. |

That's why shit like this Ukraine deal is so dangerous - you have no idea when events will outstrip the various leaders' plans and snowball with a life of their own. |

Anyway, not sure you can compare Putin to Hitler - That's pushing it a bit - However, I am sure he is planning to 'save' the Russian citizens in Crimea - He is passing a law so he can make as many of them Russian's as he can as quickly as possible..... |
Worry not, People of Ukraine.
I'm sure President Obama will soon Draw A Line which if (when) crossed he will then send a strongly worded email to Putin. That'll show him :1orglaugh http://dakiniland.files.wordpress.co...pg?w=300&h=225 |
armed protestors taking over government buildings = democracy
russians in Crimea = new hitler :upsidedow |

so while you say Georgia 'may have shot first', that's our satellite 'shooting first' in an effort to 'fix it's border issues' with breakaway provinces demonstrating its democratic right, in order to build the pipeline that benefits us. however, i think we're still for freedom and democracy am i missing a memo? or is it all about free-oil now? |

remember USA ambassador giving sweets to protesters in Kiev (as big propaganda that image is, is it true too... kind of nice symbol actually) ? Is it behaviour of person with good manners ? :-P do Russians support some political party in Mexico, country - close neighbour to US ? yet, imagine - not so close naighbour like culturally and ethnically Ukraine is close to Russia...and Russia to Ukraine |

and Cuba ? was ? |
yeah ok then
|
Quote:
Russia did much more than give out sweets in Cuba. I recall a near nuclear war over the subject actually. But I'm not interested in this superpower vs superpower crap - I was highly against the US going into Iraq, interfering in Syria, Libya, etc, or Vietnam for that matter, and I'm highly against Russia doing so here. You're just trying to bring up the USA vs Russia thing because you know the developing bullshit is wrong, but you've got some nationalist agenda so have gotta deflect... |
Quote:
I'm really far from being nationalist...i just wish that ppl wouldn have more common sense... on the other hand, if you know that cuban conflict history that well....i'm pretty sure that you didnt forgot also about rockets in Turkey, that were also "much more than sweets" :-) what else ? I also do laugh, when Putin, ex KGB smart guy talking about freedom, blaming US and hosting Mr.Snowden as "advocate of that young brave man"...like Putin would care aboout freedom of others, good-hearted ex KGB espion haha....I also dont laugh when I see GreenPeace activists jailed, NGOs surrveiled etc. etc. in Russia... So I'm neither AntiAmerican or AntiRussian or other shit...just guy with common sense :P |
LOL. Saakashvili on CNN now as 'an expert' on Ukraine. Do not wonder why americans are spoiled.
