Shit started boiling long ago actually.

Putin sent a fuckturd Yanukovich to get his hands on Ukraine. But Yuschenko took over to please people, I believe it was Putin's plan B - get a "good" cop Yuschenko instead to be a president. Then Yuschenko had betrayed the opposition taking Yanukovich aboard as a Prime Minister ( dafuk is that if its not a betrayal? ). Now Yuschenko lives his happy ever after - sonomabitch!

All this time Putin and Yanukovich have been robbing Ukraine and the people. People, especially, retards in the east were unable to find a job or make a decent living due to their con nature, so they went on and on and started to believe Yanukovich who always spoke their retard language, and I dont even mean Russian but the language of the retarded masses in the Eastern Ukraine.

I did not, and nobody I know did. It did the Russian political technology via Eastern Ukrainian corruption mechanism. Educate yourself, as you love to say.

That might be true.

You can argue that the Afghani people allowed the Taliban to take control of the country, and the Taliban allowed and even encouraged Al-Qaeda to attack the US.

The US didn't attack the Afghani people. We attacked the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. I don't recall many reports of US troops attacking Afghanis; I'm currently reading The Outpost by Jake Tapper and they haven't mentioned that yet.

You seem to saying that the US did not have the right to attack Afghanistan. Thousands of Americans died for no reason, billions of dollars of damage and... You expected us to do what? Nothing?

What would I do if I was Putin? Dunno. I fail to understand Putin and what he is doing here. If Putin wants Crimea, it would be a lot easier to do it peacefully than by force. Seems seventy percent of Crimea identifies themselves with Russia, and if that is the case have a vote and if the people of Crimea want to become a Russian state (or whatever) then they can go - willingly.

Odd how this hasn't been an issue since 1954 and suddenly it's so important that Ukraine has to be invaded?

Syria.... LOL. Best case scenario for Russia is the Syrian government wins, has sanctions for the next fifty years, and is hated by most of their people.

Venezuela... That's two fistfuls of crazy right there. This new government has taken over all of the major companies and is slowly running everything into the ground. They can't fucking keep TP in stock. Volkswagon refuses to send parts to it's own Volkswagon plant because Venezuela has used up all of it's credit and is not getting any more.

Fuck Syria and fuck Venezuela - Let the Russians help them out.

pornmasta 03-02-2014 06:15 PM

Well here is my opinion (i'm not pro putin but i would perhaps do the same thing):

- First: we have syria, venezuela and ukraine: they are more and less friends with Russia (at least when Ianoukovitch was the leader)
In a short period of time these countries had revolutions and it seems to be revolutions that benefit to the USA or the Europe side. It involves a loss of power for russia while putin like to show his muscles.
This is just not the image of Russia he wants to give to the world: he wants to looks strong but his allies are taken down by forces that are not for him.
This is the first reason why i would show "my" muscles too: to keep my influence, to show that i'm here and that i'm a country that matters.

-2 During the war in libya there was a vote at the UN security council.
They voted to prevent a massacre and in fact France (UK too i think), used this as an excuse to sustain a revolution.
So... we lied in our diplomaty and we tried to restart the same trick with syria.
This could be seen as an insult toward china and russia, 2 countries that want to be leaders meanwhile we have here in europe an economic crisis. We were already playing with them.

3- Do you know what you can do when you think that you are getting economically weaker ?
Well, if you have still a good army, you can try to expand your influence and this is what... france did in libya, but also in mali and in Central African Republic (yes, they speak french, so we have to help them, don't worry their opponents aren't very strong and there is a lot of guys of these countries in our armies...).
Who claimed here that france is hitler ? We are doing the same thing...
Oh yes, there is terrorists...
Of course, USA is used to do this too...

Even for france, being a totally downgraded country is not an option for us too...
(You can expect here a problem of ressources that USA and Russia won't have or at least far later).

China and Russia understand our politics like this too, so they have to prevent a loss of influence because of OUR wars.
You can try to manipulate civilians with the same goal, it is even cheaper.
Since we have 3 countries of the russian block that have a revolution in a short period of time, they can imo legitimately find this as an imperialistic move...
This is also why i think that WE started these aggressions, even if i would probably do the same thing here too (it is just playing with other pawns)

"If Putin wants Crimea, it would be a lot easier to do it peacefully than by force. Seems seventy percent of Crimea identifies themselves with Russia"
So like i wrote before, putin wants to show his muscles, so this is the first reason to come with an army, perhaps at least to prevent a further agression: i don't think he will stop and i wouldn't stop either.
Second reason: there is revolutions in countries that are his allies and i think he understand that russia is the next in the list, so if you feel menaced you strike before it's too late and at least before you are too weak yourself !
(It's weird that suddently gays are friends of our countries, they seem to be a good excuse for diplomacy)
I think that his goal is not war but the goal is to impress its opponents: it's a stop signal.

3rd reason: there is revolutions among his allies, so he can comes and explain "i have to protect the russians in crimea" + urkrainians removed to russian as langage, so these russians speaking ukrainian could feel rejected/unsulted.
I heard that many of them are only russian-speaking.
There is a legitimate reason to expect a revolution is crimea and putin can come and explain that he is here to prevent it.

conclusion: expect 2 blocks in a near future...

First, the US were doing business with the talibans ( you need pic to be posted again ?)
Secondly, the talibans were not supporting al-quaeda ... ( let's say they were, don't you find it strange that no afghani is part of the plot ...)

Perhaps he's really afraid of that but this won't happen. People here are not poor anymore and they have a lot to lose. So nobody wants a revolution here. Even extremely ant-Putin persons like Navalny. They say: Russian needs evolution but not revolution.

Ukraine is a very poor country and the people are completely desperate there. They are ready for everything. Russian citizens is another story. Even Chechens don't want to separate anymore.

The Russians liberated Eastern Europe, they did not plan to invade Eastern Europe it was a result of the nazi attack on them.

They controlled the defence and foreign policy but allowed a the local communist parties a free hand in domestic policy.

The Poland I know in the 70s had a lot to say for it. Full Employment, housing for everyone, free education, free health service, very cheap transport. A polish TV, film industry, books and music.

No advertising - Do you know how great it is to live with no fucking advertising? Advertising is brainwashing.

Polish people were far better informed about the world than the world was about them.

Polish people would see hundreds of American TV programs, Films and books...

How many Polish works have Americans seen?

Was everyone happy ? were there no problems? of course not ...the problems we all hear about non stop a lot of them were real....

But is you have a job and a house it is better than having to leave your country to find work in London living in one room with your wife and kid.

Is it beyond the wit of man to control economics so that everyone has a home and a job in the place they live?

Yes the system failed, it was fighting the hostility of the West, but also it failed because the people did not support the system. They thought that they could work the same way and get a car and colour TV. Radio Free Europe told them so.

Dude, seriously?

Yes, in 2001 when we removed the Taliban from government we did in fact bomb major cities. For the most part, it was surgical strikes. But the truth is no matter how many "smart bombs" are dropped, mistakes are made and shit happens.

This is very simple. Country "A" says "give us X or else" and country "B" says "no, fuck off". Country "B", it's government, and the people that put that government in place then suffer the consequences. Yes, innocent people will get killed.

It's not like the US invaded Afghanistan for no reason. We had a valid reason to go in, period.
