Too Much Media Suspends Xclusive Cash NATS License

This is a notification that Too Much Media, makers of the NATS affiliate system, have been forced to temporarily suspend the NATS license belonging to N.R. Media, owners and operators of Xclusivecash.com

There was a discrepency between the number of rebills reported to the NATS system from the rebills reported by CCBill. upon attempting to rectify the situation with executives of N.R. Media Too Much Media was met with full resistance and profanity as well as an abruptly terminated phone call.

At which point N.R. Media agrees to fully repopulate the CCBill rebill data to represent the correct figures Too Much Media will reinstate the NATS license.

The suspension of the NATS license will not effect ongoing affiliate sales. It will only disable the adminstration area of NATS so that the program is rendered unusable until the situation is sorted out.

I just spoke with Chris and Jason and they are speaking with CCBill to verify the occurrence and severity of the discrepancy and we will be speaking with them again shortly.

There will not be any additional comments from us until we speak with them again.

So far I've gathered this:

1) Too Much Media catches XClusiveCash shaving.

2) XClusiveCash gets pissed they found out and tells them to fuck off.

3) Too Much Media suspends license.

4) XClusiveCash sees suspended license and says "Oh shit, we better get our shit in order".

Didn't they just team up with Falcon Video Productions?

SplitInfinity 08-10-2006 03:37 PM

Either way, seems to me like bad business to post that sort of thing publicy on the boards..... Not sure if I am missing something, but in the real business world, those things are contractual breaches and are dealt with by attorneys....

By posting that sort of info, im sure Too Much Media may have violated any confidentiality they had in the contract regardless if the other party was wrong or not...

Not sure if I would like Nats people playing judge, jury and verdict and then posting about it before it is resolved entirely.

Am I wrong or?
Shaving IS wrong...
Im not defending the other party, just speaking in generalities...

but at the launch of it i do kinda remember something being said that if you are caught shaving using there system it will be a public announcmeent

SplitInfinity 08-10-2006 03:39 PM

JD 08-10-2006 03:44 PM

so TMM has access to their CCBill stats?

note to self: don't use nats for my program

I don't know about you all, but letting some 3rd party company have access to my CCBill admin would bother me greatly.

Digipimp 08-10-2006 03:44 PM

so if they were cheating and didnt try to handle it nicely when you brought it up, why not just permanently suspend them. fuck allowing them to use it again, kill that program since they handled it so poorly when it was brought up.

Matiz 08-10-2006 03:47 PM

Good job! :thumbsup

Don't be so quick to make assumptions.

We did not access the CCBill admin. It was brought to our attention by someone that there was a lot of talk of something going on and we logged into the NATS admin to take a look at the CCBill polling data. The number of rebills was completely out of proportion to other time periods and the number of sales. This caused us to contact N.R. media and the above followed.

Dont worry, you will never be in a situation were you have to worry about that. Stick to your blogs - I heard its the future.

So you didn't have the actual data then, just noticed a statistical anomaly based on historical trends??

Theo 08-10-2006 03:52 PM

John made a careful statement

I'd say it's a pretty accurate description of the situation at hand, from an outsider's point of view.
