Im seriously considering moving to somewhere warm and where the dollar is worth more.
Last few days ive gathered quite some info but still im not sure where to go.
I want to keep an appartment here in Amsterdam but live like 6 months a year in another country and spend my dollars there. Im looking for a tax free country as i will move my business there as well. Im looking for something warm and safe. The best i could find was the Bahama's and the city Nassau but it looks like the cost is living is quite expensive there. Anybody any input? |
Try Costa Rica or Panama.

Costa Rica. i've thought repeatedly about getting a small place there to live part-time.

Tax havens?
Gibraltar, Panama, Caymans, USA, Belize, the list goes on. Google is your friend. |
bill people in euro
i think that's the best solution to try |

But im not considering this just because of the low dollar. Ive been busy with this for a while now, i have no reason to stay here during the winters. But now the dollar going insane i feel hurrying it a bit.

I know a spot but you really don't wanna travel back and forth . Cost of plane tickets will be huge

Why not just move your accounts offshore?
Plus use offshore sponsors? or sponsors who are willing to pay/bill from other locations? |
Sounds like either Mexico, Thailand or Singapore would be good spots. :2 cents:

Hi Battuss,
I've been thinknig about it too for a long time now but the major issue is the damn Visa needed for long term stays in the various countries of interest. The only one that seems good to me is South Africa. No Visa needed but the crime rate is frightening and it takes 15 hours to get there by plane. All other countries require complexe request via their embassies. Let me know if you find a solution! Euro zone islands are cool but deal in euros and that's the problem. |

Quebec is sometimes called the "corporate tax shelter of Canada".. |
Bahammas is a great place but if you are looking to save cash, definetely not the place to go. Rent down there is CRAZY!

try "Phillipines" they say $ is 55x its worth there! :Graucho

- low cost of living - reasonably cheap real estate - relatively stable and safe - reasonably easy to move there - reasonably easy to purchase realestate - may adult webmasters already make their home there - i know a couple of people who already live there - simply a beautiful place |

Nigeria will be your best bet :thumbsup

Health insurance is cheap, not an issue. The visa to Costa Rica is only valid 3 months then you must apply and the plane ticket is pretty expensive (about 1250 euros) depature from mardrid. Not intresting.

I'm seriously considering a move to malaysia, I got some friends over there.
The downside is that it's a muslim country and I think porn is illegal. :( The positive thing is that it's dirt cheap and that the currency is on a fixed rate to usd. I gotta look more into the legalities. |
