how much are you making a month BAttuSS ? if you make like $10 000 + it is worth it to move ....... if you make like $2000 + your best bet is to say FUCK YOU to "international sites" and start focusing on DUTCH SITES where the REAL MONEY is
most think there is no money in dutch sites, but of course there is , and lots of it ! you can make like 10 000 EURO+ easy with dutch dialers and webcamsite , much more interesting for you , no exchange rate , ..... you get your money faster ...... and most importantly Dutch Dialers are fuckin TRUSTWORTHY , they wont rip you off , you will get paid, you will get paid ALL that is due, so no shaving or scrubbing (except with bill2000.nl , stay away from then) :2 cents: |

then Uruguay will be your friend :) travalling to Uruguay is like 1000 euros for a ticket , BUT once you get there you will be EXILLERATED I am thinking of moving there myself , for $1000 a month you got a LUXURY APPARTEMENT with view on the beach and inhouse whore , for like $600 you have an appartment that would cost here like 1200 euros , you should do some research on Uruguay , country is GREAT ! everything is fucking cheap there (except mercedes and bmw) oh yeah and most importantly the woman are GORGEOUS over there :glugglug |

Just read that Uruguays health care is one of the best of south america and that its very cheap to live there.
Im gonna see if i can find info about visa and banks and stuff. Can you live there tax free? Im also gonna do research on Costa Rica, would be cool to have quiet as a neighbour :) |
19% inflation is a negative aspect, of course your best bet would be to keep your money in euro currency :)

Battuss,
May I say I'm quite an expert when it comes to these cases ? There are many many more aspects than weather and taxes. How about a warm taxheaven with a murder ratio of 1:500 ? Or a nice climate, low tax, but a government that collapses and takes all your hard earned money ? I can give you great advice I normally only give to close friends. First I will give you some links that will change you point of view completely : http://www.nationmaster.com http://www.tax-news.com http://www.worldwide-tax.com http://www.escapeartist.com Those are great sources of information. Thank me now and hug me later. |

Analprobe, im amazed youre in Nassau though. It seems a very good place to live, it was number 1 on my list till i found out the cost of living. Doesnt make much sense moving there since the prices are the same as in Amsterdam it seems.

Initially I rented the house for a friend of mine who lost his wife and kids in a fire. Later we bought it together, and he moved on. It's great here when the sun is shining, allthough I miss some products they simply don't sell or you need to pay $$$ import duties for. But let me tell you, rainy season here is much worse than dutch winters ! If you can't afford the Bahamas, check out Barbados and Dominica, those are both great islands. If you like to keep close to Europe and enjoy the best climate in the world (except for Costa Rica) try out a cheap vacation to : 1. Canary Islands. NOT Playa del Ingles, try La Gomera or Tenerife, explore the islands and leave the tourist areas. Part of Spain and member of EU, if you start a hotel or pub there, you pay 50% less corp. taxes, about 22% total. Cash your checks at the bar, hehe. A friend of mine does, and it works. 2. Malta. Great, dry climate, everyone talks english, very cheap, member of EU. 3. Ibiza. Also part of spain, tax incentives if you plan to run a pub/disco and great fiesta island. Very close to Gibraltar. 4. Madeira, Part of Portugal, check out tax incentives. 5. Ireland, not to live, but lowest TAX rate in EU, only 10-12.5 % You shouldn't think of 6 months here, 6 months there. Think about 2-3 months here, 2-3 months there, much better. If you choose the Canary Islands, you can have vacations with cheap flights to anywhere, because a lot of jets are flying back EMPTY to all kinds of destinations. You can book cheapest in UK. I can go on and on for hours. Personally I think you'll like Ibiza and Tenerife very much. You can own a diving school or your own pub (without working there, just hire the girls) and enjoy tax relief and get great quality living, great climate, parties all year and girls from around the world. Let me know if you plan to go there, it's fun ! |

Some rules : - You're only taxable somewhere when you (1) earn money there and/or (2) stay +6 months a year, at once with a visum, or combined as a tourist. - You shouldn't live where your money is. - You shouldn't brag where you originally come from. Maybe that'll explain the 2-3 month advice I gave you. Too explain it shortly : You can be a tourist all year if you stay too short to become visa/tax eligible. |

The city put a few more policemen in the tourist area, but that's far from enought. I wouldn't visit Rio at this moment. This sucks. Fucking drug dealers are destroying Rio |
Consider going to other cities

Was just thinking...
Why not buy/rent a yacht and hang around the Mediterranean Sea ? A relative of mine does right that, we chat alot, and because he uses an Astra Satellite connection, sometimes takes some time to connect. But it works, he has his "boat-office". Last summer we went from Malta to Turkey, took 2 weeks to get there, but SO lovely, came across other countries, and met a lot of unusual "sailors", hehe. Great food in that area. You can simply pick up your money in Gibraltar and go to Menorca,Tunesia, Italy, Malta etc. It's a very safe sea also, no hijacking, no theft, no storms. |
BTW,
You can get boats/yachts for 21% less (no V.A.T.) in Ceuta and Malaga. |

Let's say the smallest option is a 40 ft/ 13 meters long motorized boat. Cheapest used about $20k (piece of crappa, hehe) Normal used $50k New $110k Comfort, 60 ft/ 20 meters long. Cheapest used $35k (crappa) Normal used $80k New $200k Navigation and office parts, computer(s), satellite rec. Used $6k New $10k You need a satelite connection, which is about $1500 setup,$100/month and $12/Gb surf traffic, depending on the satellite company you choose. Satellite connections have relative high latency, but also high bandwidth, comparable to DSL. GSM works in the mediterranean waters. |
