Could anyone try and pull a daily report from some 2-3 different days in july of 2007 or even 2008 then let me know if you see something strange.

I am trying to figure out if its only my own account having reporting issues or is this across the board.

I spoke with a ccbill rep moments ago who is checking into it, but even he agreed this was strange and wanted to investigate for me as to why the reports are showing up incorrectly.

Now mind you there are currently no reporting glitches or bugs being reported with ccbill.

I have a very very good reason for needing this info and will share why this is somewhat disturbing as soon as I have more info...stay tuned

when you pull up the calendar it really messes up
but if you put the dates in the range manually
the reports show fine and they match up too

Ok so just so I am clear, are you able to pull reports from several years back without using the calender box, by manually entering the dates?

I just tried and I am not able to pull the reports. We found out after speaking with ccbill yesterday now check this out.....

We made the call to ccbill and the first question that we asked was "are there any issues or bugs regarding stats reporting currently"

ccbill responded at first..."no issues being reported what seems to be your trouble"

Without accurate and proper fucntioning stats reporting then that raises red flags and concerns me as a client.

So I point out to them that for the first time in 6 years I am no longer able to pull day to day reports from several years back.

Ccbill rep acknowledges that this is very bizarre and has no idea what is causing this error. ccbill rep then claims "the only reason I can think of is that the system is not allowing you to pull the reports any more"

Of course that is the reason why we are calling....as a ccbill client I get prompted from inside the admin on what kind of report I wish to run....day,month,year etc. I enter the data and I receive no error message but I get a report that is erroneous.

Long story short.... ccbill rep says he will talk with "tier 2 tech" and see what they know....

5 minutes later I receive an email that yes they are aware of the bug and it has been going on for guess what????...about a year or so ( around the time that many of us started seeing these erratic sales swings) but the techs currently have no fix...

Ok so let me get this right there is a reporting bug that you were not aware of when I first asked, then you email back within 5 minutes and say" oops its been going on for a year BUT there is no fix"

I know to the uninitiated this sounds like jibberish, but when you are studying details like a csi Investigator, you cannot leave any stone un turned!

There is much more I want to add, but before I waste my time and energy, do any of my colleagues want me to go into this any deeper?

I am already surprised that the ccbil schills have not started raining on this thread and assuring us that we are the problem and not ccbill

everything seems to be showing fine

Well thanks Steve that was very helpful of you. I tried those reports from almost identical dates yesterday and what is happening is I am getting the same exact stats for 7-22-07, 7-23-07, 7-24-07, 7-25-07, 7-26-07 all days have the same form hits,percentages,submissions,denials, all the same!

I should proceed very cautiously, as I am a lone wolf of sorts. I try and look out for fellow webmasters and newbies who may have gotten burned, but many don't realize the value of hanging together and holding you guys to task.

For 7/22/2007 thru 7/28/2007 (which would be week #30 in 2007)

Transaction reports show different for each day. (sales, rebills, etc)

But the "Form Hits" report does in fact show the same for all 7 days.

So SwirlsGirl is correct as far as the "Form Hits" report.

How about "Transaction Reports" Swirlsgirl, what do you show for that report? All the same or different? Do you have any sales during this period?

After more testing (running reports) it appears there is in fact a bug in the "Form Hits" report (on this old data)

I just ran about 50 or so daily "Form Hit" reports in 2008.

The form hits stay the same for each day for a week at a time. From Sunday to Saturday they will stay the same.

Then the next week on Sunday it will change again and stay the same all week until the following Sunday.

Again the transaction reports show different for each day and this appears to be showing on old data.

I tested this current month (Aug 2010) and the form hits are showing different for each day.

IMO this is nothing to worry about as far as any missing sales or any wrong doing.

I am by no means saying that there may not be a problem with historical data in the Form Hits report, I am just saying that I myself am currently unaware of it.

Just so everyone knows, historical data (past 3 months) in the Form Hits report is consolidated by week so it is not actually possible to break it down by day.

I will continue to look into the data as well as any problem with the calendar funcionality and update this thread if a problem is found.

Listen I have some very should I say...compelling information, and they know it...Period! They may have royally fucked themselves. We are still in actual disbelief as to what we have uncovered and its almost like being in the twilight zone.

This is hardly a bluff, I am hardly a conspiracy theorist, I hardly expect to have record sales all the time, I am not irrational, or unreasonable, I know like many of you where there is smoke there is sure to be fire.

There has been smoke for the better part of a year and no matter how many of you come in and cosign for CCBILL with a whopping 15 gfy post count, or 20 for that matter, hell some of you big boys with 15,000 posts could be schilling for them its hard to say...it will do nothing to change the fact that we now know what we know!

BTW: I've actually been very happy with CCBill lately, and thankful for all the attention and help PaulK (and others) have given me and my account. I really like CCBill and the trust they engender in both surfers and affiliates so that's why I stick with them, and want to work with them to overcome the issues I've mentioned.

Still, sales suck today. LOL Of course, traffic is crappy, too, so again: Mondays in August?

Could anyone try and pull a daily report from some 2-3 different days in july of 2007 or even 2008 then let me know if you see something strange. I am trying to figure out if its only my own account having reporting issues or is this across the board. I spoke with a ccbill rep moments ago who is checking into it, but even he agreed this was strange and wanted to investigate for me as to why the reports are showing up incorrectly. Now mind you there are currently no reporting glitches or bugs being reported with ccbill. I have a very very good reason for needing this info and will share why this is somewhat disturbing as soon as I have more info...stay tuned

I tried those reports from almost identical dates yesterday and what is happening is I am getting the same exact stats for 7-22-07, 7-23-07, 7-24-07, 7-25-07, 7-26-07 all days have the same form hits,percentages,submissions,denials, all the same!

(sales, rebills, etc) But the "Form Hits" report does in fact show the same for all 7 days. So SwirlsGirl is correct as far as the "Form Hits" report. How about "Transaction Reports" Swirlsgirl, what do you show for that report? All the same or different? Do you have any sales during this period?

BV wtf Industry Role: Join Date: Sep 2001 Location: Bikini State, FL USA Posts: 10,914	After more testing (running reports) it appears there is in fact a bug in the "Form Hits" report (on this old data) I just ran about 50 or so daily "Form Hit" reports in 2008. The form hits stay the same for each day for a week at a time. From Sunday to Saturday they will stay the same. Then the next week on Sunday it will change again and stay the same all week until the following Sunday. Again the transaction reports show different for each day and this appears to be showing on old data. I tested this current month (Aug 2010) and the form hits are showing different for each day. IMO this is nothing to worry about as far as any missing sales or any wrong doing.

I am by no means saying that there may not be a problem with historical data in the Form Hits report, I am just saying that I myself am currently unaware of it. Just so everyone knows, historical data (past 3 months) in the Form Hits report is consolidated by week so it is not actually possible to break it down by day. Unless some hacker has found the same exploit and is only after YOU. I followed the same steps as stever and got perfectly good data as well. I honestly can't understand why you just can't come out and disclose whatever smoking gun evidence you have. Is it really that difficult? You seem articulate enough, surely you can explain why you think some or all of CCBill employees are involved in a scam, as you claimed earlier. As for the whole new "can of worms" from the other thread, why can't you just finish your own? FWIW, I'm not interested in protecting CCBill but since I use them I want to protect my business, so maybe I want to know what you've discovered. You claim to have important information. Quit shitting around and just post it!
