It irritates me to no end when people get pissed off by facts. A higher percentage of black people are on welfare, so fucking what? It's just a simple, verifiable fact. Nothing more. Same here.... never once took a single unemployment check in my life. (but because it seemed like too much effort to get one, not because I was morally opposed to it or anything...)

Not all poor people are lazy, some are hard blue collar workers, some are not that smart or have mental problems or handicap, some are drug users and can't hold a job down, some are lazy. There are all different types of poor people.

This isn't fantasy world. This is reality. Drug tests cost a lot of money. The most likely reason they don't do them already is because it's a waste of money. People getting free money will beat the piss test every time.

Is there some free job factory I don't know about? There aren't enough jobs, you can't just let everyone 'go get one'. As far as cutting off drug users, what the fuck?

They are going to cost you money no matter what, boot them from one system and they'll go to another (rehabilitation, jail) and cost you even more money. Some shit you just have to deal with, a certain percentage of people being fuck ups is one of them.

the current jobless rate is 9.5% for those 16 and over.

when I was 16 I didn't work, actually didn't have a job til I was 18, my parents told my school was my job and to focus on that. so those stats might be skewed a bit.

even so thats about 14.6 million ppl unemployed and 3+ million job openings. so 5 ppl per available job opening. those odds are pretty good at finding work. and thats for ppl 16 years of age til about 65 I"m guessing.

still seems like decent odds of getting work.

I don't know. I only mentioned it because it came to mind as a possibility. There are a lot of religious people who feel very strongly when it comes to birth control and abortion so it wouldn't surprise me.
