I know many more people that have been injured and killed by drugs and exploding meth labs than guns. Actually, I've been fortunate enough to not know anyone killed by a bullet.

Ok so she ratted out a drug dealer, same thing. Thats about the only way 70 rounds come your way, unless you're drunk & stumble onto a military firing range.

If you're referring to my post about the American doctor at the international conference, he was a spinal cord specialist. Maybe we should ban cars, since 90% of drivers cannot drive safely to save their ass. In addition to cars definitely causing more fatalities a year than guns.

a couple Seattle city cops who my friend worked out with at the gym said the exact same thing.

anyone ever seen a cop just fire one shot once they have decided to use deadly force? nope! just doesnt happen (well ... probably happens in France) but seriously, who wants the headache of a lawsuit because a guy got knee capped?

One of the guy's that was doing handgun training classes (required in my state to get licenced) made it very clear, if you shoot go for the kill *period*, if the scumbag lives theres a good chance he can sue you. Police and lawyers will tell you the same thing.

thats a very ugly thing about our legal system... among the other flaws. i remember my friend got charged with felony assault and the public defender arranged for him to plea guilty and go to jail before even interviewing my friend. so, i gave him 5000.00, he hired an attorney and when it was all over, the other guy ended up going to jail.

Fortunately I live in Pennsylvania which has one of those "right to carry laws". I carry a pistol about 90% of the time when I go out.

Sure, thousands of idiots are maimed or killed when they shoot themselves in the face or whatever. But there is a ZERO percent chance of that happening to someone who is trained and not an idiot, and my wife and kids know gun safety too.

Sadly today, as in all times, the world is violent. As soon as that violence ends I'll be turning in my guns for good. Let me know when that happens.

That is one reason....another is so I have the right tool for the job.

A mechanic has more than one wrench.

At this point I keep them because I enjoy shooting various types of weapons. Maybe someday I will open the vault and shoot a few pics of the contents in there.
