I think most people understand that it's unhealthy though. Similar to smoking, Coke is very addictive. Smokers at least have available tools and plans to help them quit their addiction. Not so for Coke drinkers.

thanks for an in depth comment.

I was mainly referring to the fact of how the body has to deal with all this sudden acidity and how it brings your organism to shock that can result in death, because your ody is running out of reserves to neutralize the acid. Our blood PH has to stay in the range of 7.35-7.45ph, if it ever drops below that, you die very shortly. That's what happened to the guy at the coke drinking competition.

I don't need to do research to know I am in perfect health. I also know that every single person is different, and every body is different...which is why one guy can live til 80 and be fat as a cow, and another guy can be 39 and in perfect health and die of a heart attack
