for all that are interested can google alkaline diet and it's benefits. I am sure you will have a plentiful to read.

I have read a book on this subject and quite of a bit of online media. Ordered my second book on the subject recently.

First book claimed that if we were to bring our blood PH to the higher levels of 7.45, no disease could exist. There would be no cancer, no heart disease. It gave a sample of some certain nation on the bottom on the Himalayan hill that eats a very high alkaline diet and how average age of anybody there is well over a hundred and none as heard of cancer and such. I haven't researched that one yet, but using your logic after reading the book it sounds very real. That particular nation's diet is very close to what humans ate in the stone age.

funny, my wifes grandmother is 94 and has drank coke plus ate red meat and pork since she was 2-3 years old, and she is in perfect health....she even climbs up on her second story roof every fall and cleans her own gutters

moral is, just because someone wrote it, doesn't mean it is 100% true

everybody's organism is different. She probably has other good habits in her diet and lifestyle that help strengthen the body.

I am not saying that if you drink coke, consider yourself dead. No. But beware is it not healthy

I have to agree. Hell, for the last 10+ years I've been drinking coke as my MAIN liquid source. Sure, my teeth are fucked (in the process of getting that fixed), but I'm not dead and my bones have not faded away to nothing or weakened due to drinking enough Coke to last a normal person 100 years.

If it weakened bones I'm sure I would have broken many by now, but the last time I broke a bone was when I was 17 (I'm 33 now) and it was because I punched a cement wall.

To top it off, I'm barely ever sick yet I smoke 2+ packs a day, I drink between 5 to 8 cans of coke per day (sometimes more), I don't watch what I eat not matter how unhealthy it is or how much fat there is and the list goes on.

BUT here I am perfectly fine for the exception of my fucked up teeth and a hereditary leg disability. So I agree that to many people are way to fucking gullible.

haha, no, not really

The problem is people worry themselves sick about their health and create the problems that they get. I don't worry about shit.. An average quick meal for me consists of 3/4 pound of bacon, 4 eggs fried/cooked IN the bacon grease an 4 toasts smothered with real butter. Bet people think that I'm some fat ass webmaster. haha

god damn right, my wife gets on me when I buy regular bacon and not turkey bacon because it is "bad" for me...LOL...I spend 4 hours a year getting doctor tests and physicals every 6 months, every single thing they claim will go "up" when I eat bacon and red meat is completely normal or BELOW normal levels on me

I am 5'10" and weigh 185-190 lbs...a lot of that is muscle, and I barely work out, very little fat on me

god toast with real butter is so fucking good, I eat it every morning, like 5-6 slices, haha...can't forget to salt it either, the salt content in butter just isn't enough

and dude, cooking in bacon grease is the SHIT..my wifes grandmother (yes, the 94 year old one) told me about that one when I was like 25, what a fucking marvelous creation

There's no point wasting the bacon grease when you can use it all up to make your eggs. Gives the eggs and even better flavor.
