I know this post is longer than the 5 word gallery descriptions that you're use to reading, but you can make it through to the end, I have faith breeders I have faith! Those of you that are in the US are about to be effectively legislated out of existence in the very near future, and I've not seen ONE OF YOU submit comments to the DOJ. These comments DO MATTER and they matter in a HUGE WAY. Sure the DOJ might ignore them. But the Judges in cases which have been / will be brought by the Free Speech Coalition do not, and in fact Judges have specifically cited comments (or the lack thereof) in court. If very few comments are submitted, and I'm only seeing 22 of them published at this point, you're going to make it VERY VERY hard on the attorneys that are fighting for YOUR livelihoods to do so! I know approving galleries is tough work that takes up at least 23 hours of your day 7 days a week and stuff, but please, find 15 minutes to write a little ditty. If you're REALLY fucking fat and lazy, the Free Speech Coalition has even offered to HELP WRITE YOUR FUCKING COMMENTS FOR YOU! I have to ask the question...
If google can thumbnail porn images and not need 2257 documents, why would a TGP be any different? Most TGP owners don't host the galleries, just link to them (or at least the galleries they do build they would normally have documents for !). So how does 2257 affect them? I cannot imagine that there would be two standards, one for google and one for porn sites, that likely wouldn't make it through the courts. |

Again, I think that it won't past muster in the courts - using a thumb to link, either as part of an automated process on a large system or on a smaller system isn't any different.
Auto-thumbing is common on most TGP software. |
