It is true that by the time Saddam's defiance of the UN reached the breaking point and the US invaded, most of the WMDs were shipped to Syria, buried in the ground or under water, destroyed, or hidden. Nobody knew. Iraq was a closed society, a dictatorship.

But, so...what?! It's really almost irrelevant.

Saddam posed a threat his own people, to his country's future, to Iraq's neighbors, and to regional peace. Saddam was hanged for some of his atrocities.

Thank goodness that GWB had the balls to remove him. If Americans stuck together, the process of rebuilding would be alot easier.
