Anti war protest in Washington DC
Its going on now and Hanoi Jane is leading it. The organizers thought there would be between 300k and 500k people, there is like a couple hundred that I can see. They want congress to cut funds to the troops.
Even kids are speaking: Quote:

http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/ap/IRAQ...0127125741.jpg Regardless when I posted the thread there were only a couple hundred people there, also they thought they were going to get 150k-300k lol. What a bunch of losers. I am not a Republican I am a Libertarian but whatever helps you justify your weak point lol. |

I guess I would be considered a loser then. God bless them for trying to do something, as opposed to you, who just posts stupid shit on GFY. |

Actually if you read the article, the organizers said they didn't expect many people at all, yet tens of thousands showed up. Apparently you're learning propaganda lessons from GW himself? |
I'll bet there would be more people there if they had naked chicks. People like chicks almost as much as they like a good war :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

A REAL Libertarian believes in liberty and peace for all. Not just for a few war profiteering elites in gated communities.

Libertarians believe in individual rights. Clearly there were few such rights in Iraq under Saddam Hussein.

Another classic thread scraping the bottom of the barrel of US domestic politics and with the usual wannabees and nonentities trying to excude some intelligence while explaining how my-dick-is-bigger - as tho anyone in Iraq or the rest of the world gives a shit :pimp Bull hell... they can be worth the entertainment value - if only they knew it :) |
Even if 10,000 left wing idiots, haters, and foreigners did show up, so what? Loving brutal dictators and hating democracy is just what they do best.
Finishing our job in Iraq is the right thing to do, and most sensible people agree. If we just pull out, say hello to bloodshed on a truly massive scale, and perhaps a regional war. For context, some of the national Vietnam War protests were over 250,000 people, so 10,000 is a joke. There are that many people in your local mental institution. |

Under a dictatorship, public opinion and dissatisfaction of the population doesn't weight an ounce in the balance. That is why they didn't protest in front of the WhiteHouse. Quote:

Why do all non-Americans pretend they are American? Fact is that anti-war protest was a joke and you know it. This country wants to end the war obviously but they dont want to cut funding to the troops or run from Iraq. You dont have to be Libertarian or Republican to believe that pulling out of Iraq right now would be a HUGE mistake for America... but then again you dont care because you want the failure of America. |

The US will make an exit from Iraq, not because of your, or the US opinions/fantasies/wishes, but because the US is not wanted in that region and the bouquets of flowers never existed. It was all a dream Splum - forget it. Few care about how "HUGE" a mistake it is for America - it's not about America - it's about Iraq. I know it may affect your dick size, but that passes :winkwink: |

Today, another 5 young soldiers got blown to pieces in Iraq ... You are OK with that ? Ifso, send more targets.:2 cents: |

It's not about the finer sensibilities of America - it's about the total fuckups, deaths and destruction in Iraq. The "discomfort" America may feel is a grain of sand in comparison to the damage in the Middle East. McDonald's is still serving hamburgers where you are - there is a lack or power and water in Iraq and 1000's are in crappy hospital beds limbless while others have had their families wiped out. They don't care about America - they have more urgent things to occupy themselves with and these are the people who will be constructing a life for themselves in the Middle East - without any assistance from the US. It really is a very disgusting scenario all round - but, stay out of people's faces and they will manage to recover over time and organize their own affairs - they were doing this 1000's of years before America was founded and more than capable of continuing with recovery from this sad episode. |

Also on another related note.. today in America 100s of people died in automobile accidents so dont act like casualties in Iraq are happening at a high rate. |
The soldiers the US gov is recruiting out of Manila and Mexico are only in it for the money and the citizenship papers.

If you want to start silly comparisons - believe me 9/11 was another grain of sand in comparison to the death and descruction in Iraq. Don't even think of going there - it's gonna take you up an avenue you'd wish you never tred. |

0. Islamic extremism resides in ALL middle eastern countries, Saddam just played right into our hands. 1. Every person that died on 9/11 that wasnt a terrorist was an innocent person. 2. 99.9% of innocent deaths in Iraq are caused by other Iraqis or foreign terrorists NOT American soldiers. Oh and I will tread all over your disease infested muddy avenues buddy. |

Radical Islamic fundamentalism is THE threat to our generation. It doesn't matter if it comes from Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakiston, or Somalia. You remind me of the people who had their heads buried in the sand before WWII --the peaceniks and the dreamers. Those people prevented the Western powers from stomping out Hitler early on. As a result, 60,000,000 people died in WWII. Sixty fucking million people!! And that was before the age of h-bombs. Wake the fuck up! |

I also visit certain states of the USA, tough I might refrain from doing so in the future, for obvious reasons ( re: arrest of foreign citizens ...). I will spend my $$$ in another country, wont change nothing for me. I can understand how frustrating and humiliating to have been lied to and have beleived all the BS of WMD, regime change, freedom and so on ... From day one, before the war , I had this posisition that it was all BS and all neocons following their New Century project ... So did many countries... It so happens that we were right, and that you were wrong... So stop throwing more lives and $$$$ in a LOST cause. :2 cents: |
