What is worse is the idiots at the automatic checkout, the entire point of the auto checkout is to avoid these people.

they spend like 5 minutes trying to scan a single product. then another 5 minutes figuring out how to pay, it is beyond annoying.

oh, anyone ever try to return something at IKEA? I was there the other day and I waited at least 20 minutes to talk to a guy about exchanging some damaged goods. The guy then sent another perosn into the warehouse to get my stuff. After 10 minutes of waiting for the guy to come back i was getting restless and asked if i could just go and get what I needed and come back as it would have taken me under 1 minute to get what I wanted. But, apparently that's not policy. After 15 minutes the guy at the desk went into the back (seeing that I was obviously really pissed at the shitty and slow service) and got the pieces i needed and I was gone. Just out of curiosity I went into the warehouse on my way out to see if I could find the guy that was supposed to be bringing my stuff and he was nowhere to be found. How retarded is that? Stupid IKEA, does anyone even like that place, or do we all just shop there because it's cheap?

Wednesdays is 'old folks' day at our local supermarkets. The busses come to take them shopping. Someone somewhere gave me the idea that old people are polite. They AREN'T. They will butt in line, talk through movies, let doors slam in your face.. no manners.

Every month the day everyones rent is due, I need to go and take care of something in my bank, and join a massive que of 60+ people who still go to the bank to pay their bills... Of course you can't excpect everyone to have a computer and internet at their house, but there are free internet connections everywhere - the library, even the bank, and there are people who's job it is to teach you how to use them, but noooooo... these guys just insist on having to see the nice ladies at the bank and have a little chat while they're paying their monthly bills. Banks around here have even started to charge you like 6 dollars per bill if you have it done manually at the counter to prevent this madness, but there seems to be no helping these people. Blah.

Shit, I got in line behind an old bitch a week or so at the grocery store, and I seriously and literally almost slapped the shit out of her. The whole time the kid running the register is scanning her shit, she is checking the prices and busting his ass. Then it comes down to a bag of oranges and the fur started to fly.

She goes off how they are supposed to be $1.50 not $3.00 and starts tearing into the kid. He calmly explained (about three or four times) that they weren't on sale for half price, but 'buy one, get one free'. He finally goes back and talks the produce manager that had supposedly told this lady that they were half off (yeah right) and the kid comes back and tells her that the store will give them to her for $1.50 because of the misunderstanding.

What does she do? Smile and say thanks? Nooooooo... She pitches a ninny and makes the kid call the manager, and void the whole transaction so someone else can ring her up.

I was audibly cussing at her by this point, along with the ten other people in line with me.
