I agree with all of what you said. By "newbie friendly" I wasn't referring to the attitude of established webmasters, but to the fact that when I got into this you could put up a basic 50 pic Cyberage Preferred site with a shitload of upsells and even with very few html/graphics skills make a couple hundred in your first week or two. It didn't take alot to keep someone stoked for the business from the beginning back then. Now, unless you start out with good business sense, a working knowledge of html, tenacity, and a few other things, you probably don't stand a chance.

I don't think newbie boards and the resources they feed will dissappear. I just think there will be alot fewer in a couple of years.

You know AMP when I first came to this board I was freaked by it. All the pissing and stuff. I even thought I would never come back, being a female, sometimes I felt out of league. But I have learned that this is not for pussies.

This board teached you to be tough, on my board I can act like an idiot, post pictures of myself to the members, and fuck around. I am outspoken and a loud mouth and want things my way too, but I think I am doing ok, no one has been to bad.

You can just shoot the shit with people here. That is important.

Newbies are good folks, I was a newbie once, and boy have I learned a lot since then.

Not everything is as it appears.

If you can look at stuff on this board in that light, you will go far.
Learning to distinguish what really IS as it appears and what is show, takes time...... you're not alone. Lot's of people show up, get freaked, and haul ass. This is a good thing. GFY is a great filter for weeding out the weak. And sadly, I got a feeling, as we all get older, we'll eventually be pushed out by our own principles..... the day will come when I am too fucking old to shred a dumbfuck anymore..... (god help me when that happens), and I will become a victim of the very things I'm been promoting in this thread.....

but alas.... I am drunk, and I shall shut up now until someone shows me their titties.

Its because this board is really an underground recruitment center for new bait bus talent.

Its not easy to get a straight guy to "go gay," but after hanging out here and posting a bit, most heterosexual males find that their barriers are broken down, and they eventually succumb to the underlying manlove in every GFY thread. Cheshire and Nina (and other females) are just here to distract everyone from the obvious truth.
