Epassporte, WTF?????

So I had to fly home this past week to see my nephew who was in a coma on life support after a car wreck. While there, I try to get MY money from my ePassporte card. It doesn't work. After sitting in a hospital room last night watching the staff take the life support from my nephew and watching him take his last breath on this earth, I needed MY money to get back home to Phoenix. I get ahold of ePassporte today only to be told my account is on hold for some "suspicious activity". Oh like what? Something like trying to get MY money out of an ATM machine in MIssouri? The girl on the phone couldn't tell me. But, she did say that I would have some kind of security email in my inbox in 7 business days that I can answer and send back then wait another 7 days for a reply. Is there not a PERSON that I can talk to? Is your fraud department manned by a POP3 account?

I am done with you guys. There is NO reason to have a hold on my account. That is MY money! That is my freakin' paycheck you dorks! My paycheck from a company that uses you to pay our affiliates. Geezus. I am pissed beyond pissed right now.

I usually do that as well but, I left some in there this time around. And when I had to make the trip out to see my family this week I figured I would just pull the rest out of the ATM there. I guess that is what I get for thinking.

And a huge thanks to all for the condolences.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I went through that with a family member recently, it's rough.

Epassporte: I think you should put this woman's story on your site as a customer testimonial.

I'll send this thread to Keyser so he can get your situation resolved quicker. Its really a shame that you need Keyser to handle a problem that never should have happened.

Is there anything else we can help you with?

What epassporte should do when someone calls because of a family emergency like that is unlock the account immediately and not worry about their god damn stop-loss program.

THATs what should fucking happen.

The more I think about this the more pissed off I'm getting.

You don't have a bank account? A credit card?

Fraud happens with every company you deal with and takes days to resolve sometimes.

Note to yourself, carry cash or apply for a credit card.

Its how the company she represents pays her as opposed to a paycheck.

Its supposed to be easier and quicker.

My condolences... I never know what to say to someone about that I've never had a problem with epassporte but because of all these threads I use that card for nothing but pulling my money out of ATM IMMEDIATELY. I don't want to say I don't trust them but a company is the sum of it's parts and if support sucks then the company as a whole sucks.

I?m really sorry about your loss, just take it one day at a time. About epass? for large amounts of money I would never recommend using them over Funds2Go. Funds2Go is more expensive, but overall I would say they do large amounts better. They have a 2k limit to pull from the atm per day, but that?s no big shocker there.

Honez - Condolences to you and your family.

The DOZENS of similar threads that have been posted about epassporte are exactly why I've never considered opening an account.

"My condolences" is just fine to say I normally pull mine out of the ATM or transfer to my bank account immediately as well. I just forgot some of it this time around.

I agree 100%. Any half-decent credit card issuing bank would do that. What's worse is that with ePassporte, many of us have close friendships with the employees of ePassporte. It wouldn't suprise me at all if Honez has met a few employees of the company at conventions. Not many people can say they've had a drink with the CEO of their bank.

My condolences, Honez. Hope they get this resolved for you ASAP!

Awwww that is sweet but, I am not looking for any other money. Just the money I already have in my account. And a live person to talk to that can explain to me why I can't access it and take the hold off in less than 14 business days.

You are a wonderful human being. Muah!

I am not stuck in Missouri. I so appreciate your offer but, I did make it back home ok.

Just for the record, Keyser contacted me this morning and just a few minutes ago, after a lengthy ICQ conversation and lots of scanning and emailing everything except pictures of my nunu and the inside of my colon, my account is back and usable. I still have a bad taste over all of this but, I must say that ePassporte has a hell of a rep in Keyser. Major kudos to him.
