Cool - The farmer's market in ATL gets them. I'll have to swing by and pick up a few. We pan broil them in butter and put them in homemade bread with spiced mayo.
And yes, you can get them in Costa Rica - this is new world - they have a thing called "FedEx" now |

I am so upset. Used to live in Maryland (grew up there). Noone out here (in vegas now) knows about bushels of crabs. All my friends around here have to get them flown in.

I love seafood but grew up with a sister who was/is deathly allergic to shellfish and then was with a husband who would hurl at the thought of anything from the sea. So, my seafood experiences are not as vast as they should be. I do miss good lobster from when I lived in the Boston area, though. Good clams too. Over here they are big on cod, etc but shelfish doesn't appear to be that popular.

My mother lived on the river in Jax and had crab traps set. Wouldn't get but maybe one a day, but it was still fun. Plus seining at the beach and shrimping off her dock when the shrimp were running. Fresh caught seafood is the BEST |
