ok the girl that did my avs intro wants in, but she has no content bc shes not an adult webmaster, is it against the rules if i give her the content and everything she needs? no i will not claim the work nor do i want the prizes i want her to get her name out

good god this thread got big.... okay, haven't quite absorbed all of this yet, but it looks like we're still missing some crucial elements... (unless I missed them along the way to the bottom here) Things that are sticking out at me: 1. We got a voting start time, but not and ending time.... 2. Have we figured out where the tours go after the vote? Gonna give 'em away somehow or something? Any thoughts? 3. Is the vote going to be handled purely by code, or will there be some sort of judges panel overseeing it? 4. Places.... 1st, 2nd, & 3rd sound good to everyone? (in both categories of course.... ) 5. I guess if someone wants to sponsor a designer by providing content to work with for this, I don't personally see any reason why not.... But it should probably be noted or something "Sponsored by...." As far as the structure of the tour..... that's up to you. It can be a 3 page tour, it can be whatever you want.... if you wanna build a megasite, that's your choice.... as long as it's stays within the category rules.... Category 1: Pure graphics, (animated gifs are okay), HTML, javascripting, & css allowed. Category 2: Flash. No fucking databasing or weird plugin shit. Let's keep it simple. 7. No..... you can't submit a logo as an entry. You do a freakin' tour or you don't. And if you wanna make a one page tour, that's your choice, but you're cutting your own throat.... 8. fuck... must have coffee..... I'll be back.... |

Maybe its just me, but I didnt think design were meant to be pretty... I'll take a design that sells over a nice and fancy one any freaking day... I'll take a designer that knows what will sell over one that can Make little spinning letters in flash anyday... just my :2 cents: |
About the content thing....
If some of you are in need of some content for the design. You can BORROW some from us. But if the design are to be used after the competition with some of the pictures from us, the sets has to be bought. You can check out our sets at Cool-Content Don't hope you see this as a spam...
