Hmmmm...don't make me dig into my personall stash... Also, I'm comingup with a contest idea... I'm going to keep getting some good riddles and then starting friday I will post 6 of my toughest riddles. 2 a day. The first correct answer on each will get a cd of 100 Webready, BRANDED IMAGES, in categories of your choice, as long as I have stock in that category, and a license for use on ONE domain... The BRAND MUST REMAIN ON EVERY IMAGE. Its small and unobtrusive. so keep posting riddles so I can make sure the ones I have in mind are not used. These will be tough riddles! okay, since nobody solved the coin riddle .. I'll post solution here
So you need only 2 tries! Heres how you do it. 1st try: take 6 coins and put 3 on each side. If it balances out even, the counterfit coin is in the other triad. Otherwise the counterfit is in the heavier triad. 2nd try: Now you have 3 coins and one of them is surely counterfit. So you take 2 coins and put 1 on each side. Now you can determine the counterfit coin. it is heavier. And if it balances out even, the counterfit coin is the third Easy, isnt it?

I only reason I know that one is because of its Fame...I played with it for hours and finally took to the library to get the answer...
Also due its fame the cheaters will not bother to spend much time wrapping their brains around it...suppsedly 98% of the world caouldn't solve that riddle on their own...

Here's a good one...
Three men go hunting away from home, and they are out much later than they expected. So they go to the nearest hotel, and the clerk says a room is $30.00. So each man pays $10.00, and the men go to their room. Then the manager comes up to the clerk and askes, "How much did you charge those men for their room?" The clerk says, "$30.00." The manager says, "Well the new rate is $25.00." So he pulls 5 one dollar bills from his pocket and tells him to give back to them their $5.00.
