They are required. I'm a texan never been to that ranch but close by..

As far as i know ( although i could be wrong on this ) the quail they were hunting are wild quail

Trout dont require stamps i dont think , but other species of fish do, and it wouldnt matter if your on private property or not if you had unstamped fish on a boat , you would either get a fine or have your boat and fishing equipment seized..

I have had pletny of run ins with fish an game officers, and they dont "setup" appointments and treat you all nice and cushy , these guys follow/enforce rules.. maybe i just got the 500 mean fish and game officers and cheney got the 1 nice one..

There are no chances of him facing any criminal investigation in any way shape or form since it happened in TX. Most states they could investigate but can you imagine what would happen to the cops that started poking at Cheney in TX?

That's a career decision and you'd get the results immediately.

I heard they were farm raised and clipped so I don't think they were wild birds.

You have never been to a trout farm I guess. And no, my understanding is that they were not wild quail.

Exactly. Hence no stamp required.

At the end of the day, this shows the type of poor judgement and the "treat me like I am special" attitude that comes with this entire administration. If they can't manage a simple, controlled, setup hunt for previously caged birds flushed on command to be shot after the hunters drive up to the blind and get out of the car... well... how in fucks name can they manage a country?

It is stunning.

So, it is your position that if I raise quail, I need a stamp to kill it?

What if you were to learn that the victim wandered away from the group?

No doubt. Wonder how many people use their Sunvisor in their cars when the sun is in front of them when they drive. Wonder if they realize that it makes it more difficult to see objects between them and the sun at 30 yards? lol

then he would be learning false facts.. the victim didnt wander away from the group , dick cheney wandered away.

but dont take my word for it.. why not take dick cheneys word since he was actually there

-------------------
Dick cheney
Ultimately, I am the guy who pulled the trigger that fired the round that hit Harry (Whittington), and you can talk about all of the other conditions that existed at the time," Cheney said in an unusually personal interview with Brit Hume of Fox News. "It's not Harry's fault. You can't blame anybody else.
-------------------

And to those who laughed when i said he was drinking , he also admitted to drinking beer earlier..

And just to clarify it wasnt domestic quail it WAS wild quail and cheney wandered away not the other way around.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Cheney, Whittington and another hunter, seeking wild quail, approached a covey of birds located by hunting dogs, Cheney said, and when the birds were flushed, the hunters fired and each hit one.

Cheney and the other hunter then walked off about 100 yards. Trailing in vehicles was Cheney's security detail.

correct. I guess Donny has been hit too many times with a shotgun from close range, to work that out himself.
