1. Any tax would destroy cash flows to the USA, it would be a trickle down effect through the economy. You would see people drop USA processors in a heart beat, to avoid the USA imposed tax.

2. Some states have a tax on illicit drugs (North Carolina and Tennessee). Does this make the drugs legal or the Drug Peddling trade legitimate? NO! They do this, so when they arrest you they can get you on a tax evasion charges.

They have made them respectable enough you dont see people hauled into jail for them. Its very hard to arrest someone for something you tax.
