I'm done trying to get into shape
I'm 6'2 190 lbs. For the last 3 months I have run a minimum 3 times a week, and I still cant get past a mile and a quarter at a snails pace. I just got back from a 9 minute run, and I still can't last longer than 10 minutes at a pace that is suitable for my height.
I'm going to save on foods, buying a bag of chips and some chocolate bars, and I'm going to fucking eat it all. </rant> edit: And since I'm uncapable of running even after 3 months of doing so - I'm going on the starvation diet to loose the weight.

dont give up man..trust me...
i was 230 5'9.... i started running... start slow, try doing a half mile 5 days a week... then move it up to a mile... then 2... eat healthy too, try to cut down on drinking and smoking can be a factor too. I used to only be able to do a mile, now im 170 5'9 and run about 4 miles 4 times a week. eat alot of protein too, that helps. |

how does your diet look? i'm willing to bet it isn't all that pretty. you need to eat at least 5 times a day of clean foods, particularly HIGH in good carbohydrates especially an hour or so before running.
and just really really push yourself, the human body is capable of much more than the "usual" mindset permits... you have to train hard as FUCK and stop at nothing. then, you will make progress. |

i ordered a shitload of protein powder isopure protein powder, they have strawberry, vanilla and chocolate mix it with a glass of water and drink it after a workout or with a meal. for breakfast i usually eat about 3 eggwhites on ryetoast (hardly any calories and shitload of protein). lunch, steamed chicken and brocolli or a can of low sodium tuna (no mayo). dinner, just eat sensible, dont stuff like a fat little pig. also try doing pushups and situps at all times of the day (when you have nothing else to do, just get down and do 20). 3 weeks of this and you will notice you dropped mad weight and you can run farther.. you mentioned starving yourself? thats the worst thing you can do. deprive your body of nutrients and other stuff. if your hungry, eat an apple or bannana. hope this helps, peace. |

another good thing that works is try to be good on your diet all week and dont cheat...
then come sunday, let loose and go for that fat boy bagel with cream cheese. or the full rack of ribs. sunday is your day to fuck up. |
