I don't own a passport.. I am pretty happy right where I am. I have a large house, plenty of toys, make good money.. Entertainment is very close by in many forms. Why would I want to leave the country.

I don't travel much because I prefer to work at this stage of my life, but if I did it would probably be within the US. I would rather dump money back into the US economy.

Now its also important to note that I don't police other countries. I also don't tell other people in foreign countries how to act. I think your post MissionDollars should be put in the form of a letter and sent to the US govt. No one here makes those decisions.

Did you know that the russians suffered some 20 million casualties? Do you know how many fuckin ground tropps that is? Did you know that the brits suffered over 600,000? It is an 8 hour drive from Erie Pennsylvania, to Philly Pennsylvania. It is a 3000 MILE flight from coast to coast.

An American going on vacation to Disneyland is a lot more difficult than a Brit going to France, and at the end of the day, the weather is a lot nicer.

Bottom line, if an American has a passport, they are going 3-5k MILES away. Check your stats and see how many of your passport holders went that far. The Chunnel doesn't make you a world traveler.
