Frankly I doubt that Joan or Gracie have anything to do with this. I've spent a good bit of time talking to Joan about many different things, and she's simply not the type of person to be a party to something like this. Nor does she manage ASACP in a manner consistent with this either.

Gary needs to step back, this is rather much, to say the least.

I could somewhat understand this if it was being done to others with similar type sites, but searching for similar sites doesn't produce the same results.

I agree with the need for an orginization like this to fight CP, but doing crap like this??? Come on... are they fighting CP, or targeting people they don't like? How long will it be before their credibility is shot all to hell and the orginazaiton is seen as nothing more than worthless window dressing?

gary is on the board of asacp, therefore it is one of his responsibilityes to know the proper way to treat cp sites, either your sites, are, or are not CP, if they are, then asacp needs to immediatly begin to report them, if they are not, then there is no reason to list asacp as the only search result

Okay, I have spoken with Joan about the TGP vs ASACP thing back when SleazyDream was having issues with them, and this is what I got from the discussion.

ASACP is still trying to gain the trust of people like the FBI so that when they report a site it is taken seriously. For this reason thay can not accept donations from just anyone, or let all comers become members because then they would have people that do have CP join up just so they could hide behind the ASACP banner.

Please don't read this to think that anyone in this thread is promoting CP, just giving you what I came away with from my personal discussions with her.

For the record, I stressed to her that there are TGPs that hand review every submission, and are paid spots only and that they should not be grouped in with every TGP that takes mass submits from anyone that submits a gallery to them.

I don't know what the gripe is ASACP has with Lightspeed, as we never discussed it.
