Why is KimmyKimm treating clients disrespectfull?

in reference to this thread:

http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...postid=5463380

KK couldn't understand why people use SpamArrest because it would supposedly not get password/account info to the actual inbox.

I shared my POV as a SpamArrest user (or for that matter any challenge-response system)...
Somehow she has this urge to call people retards when they do not share her opinion.

I've seen it happen to a lot of people (a lot of ePassporte users even) allthough these people either are potential clients or already bringing in money for them.

What would you do if you buy bread at K-Mart and the cassier tells you you're a retard?

Unbelievable... oh well that's my rant for today

First of all this is GFY.

Secondly, she wasn't being rude at all. You're just an oversensitive pussy.

even though this is "just" GFY there is a lot of business done here and I cannot understand why companies allow this.

Why do they spend thousands on banner ads here every month? Cause GFY delivers it's simple like that!

I can take a lot but when someone that earns money over my back calls me a retard I'm not gonna send them even more money.

I don't think KK was being rude. KK has a habit of speaking her mind, and not giving a damn about what people think.

I'm sure that Kimmy Kim is pissed because the company she works for sents out automatically generated emails to people, and they get complaints because clients don't get them because they are using Spamarrest. It's a valid complaint. Spamarrest blocks such emails automatically, but people complain when they don't get them.

Go figure.

LOL, sorry but this is a little bit of a dumb way to try and start drama. Or to get attention.

She explained pretty well why she doesn't understand users of these programs. Your first reply was completely irrelevant to the problems that she points out, which is why she explained her objections some more. Again.

Nah man. I couldn't stand her for awhile, I took her brash attitude the wrong way- I took it offensivly.

Turns out she's a good person. Why would I need to kiss her ass?

It does not block autogenerated e-mails automatically, why do you suggest this?

You can block/authorize anything you want, if you want spam you can have it so what's the problem?

if I wanted attention I'd post something like

"Platinum Bucks shaves! CJBucks spams! hot girl big boobs (pics pics pics pics!)"

that's attention style, this is just an honest "complaint"

my first reply was completely in reference to her initial post so I dunno why you say otherwise

Do you know anything about Spamarrest? This is directly from their website:

"Emails from unknown senders will receive an auto-reply message, containing a challenge. If the sender completes the challenge, their email is moved to your inbox, and they are added to your authorized sender list.
The challenge is easy for people, but impossible for automated systems to complete.

This keeps the spam out. "

When a member signs up for my site we send them a automatically generated email. Spamarrest then sends us an email asking us to confirm that we sent it and that it's not spam. Being as this email is automatically generated, if Spamarrest replies to our email we'll never see it - and thus it gets blocked.

You are obviously not a spam arrest user.

All emails are accessible in your "unverified" folder. If I am expecting an auto-generated email I'll check it and authorize it.

Very simple. And no more spam.

I'm sure she's a very nice person but when I first contacted her on many people's recommendations because I wanted to get an epass biz account. She treated me very rudely, ignored me, then appologized because she confused me with someone else. She said she didn't realize it was a business account I wanted, like that makes a difference. Then ignored me again. I was handled like shit.

I found a new account rep (Amparo) who treated me with resepect and took good care of me right from the beginning.

I can only hope it was a fluke and caught her having a very bad week.

OH MY GOD! You're right!!!! Surfers are so damn smart they should KNOW when they're going to get an autogenerated response that they need INSTEAD of all the spam they don't want.

I bet those crafty sons of guns sit around all day looking for confirmation emails.

Being as this email is automatically generated, if Spamarrest replies to our email we'll never see it - and thus it gets blocked.
you are correct about the fact that an e-mail is sent out but a automated system cannot reply.

BUT!

You can authorize e-mails that weren't verified by the sender so you still get automated messages you DO want to receive.

I've told this over and over and the SpamArrest states this in their FAQ too. I receive every single sponsor e-mail I want and if your theory would be right I would receive none.

If people would only read!

edit:

taken from the FAQ area on SpamArrest.com:

"Does Spam Arrest work with automated emails?

Yes! You are able to approve/block automated senders in the Unverified Mail folder. If you receive an email from an automated address (like [email protected]), simply approve it once, and all future emails from that address will automatically be passed through to your inbox."

We do too and it has webmaster@purecash or webmaster@wegash as return addresses. When I get the confirmation request, I go in, put in the code and now we can send automated email out with no further need for confirmation. Why are you never seeing the Spamarrest request for confirmation?

I bet those crafty sons of guns sit around all day looking for confirmation emails.

Let's hope I can find my way to the 405 this morning, I sure seem to be real blonde.

You say some really fucking stupid things sometimes. Surfers that use spam arrest are obviously a little more educated than the average surfer. I don't know about you, but I read how things like "spam arrest" work before signing up or paying for them. I would be willing to be that ALL of them know how to check their "unverified messages" box.

You really should educated yourself before lodging your foot in your mouth.

All emails are accessible in your "unverified" folder. If I am expecting an auto-generated email I'll check it and authorize it.

Very simple. And no more spam.
Don't know how to break it to you, but not everyone is as smart as you. I actually have people tell me to email them, and then tell me I will have to be sure to respond to the S/A for it to go thru.
