"Emails from unknown senders will receive an auto-reply message, containing a challenge. If the sender completes the challenge, their email is moved to your inbox, and they are added to your authorized sender list.
The challenge is easy for people, but impossible for automated systems to complete.

This keeps the spam out. "

When a member signs up for my site we send them a automatically generated email. Spamarrest then sends us an email asking us to confirm that we sent it and that it's not spam. Being as this email is automatically generated, if Spamarrest replies to our email we'll never see it - and thus it gets blocked.
You are obviously not a spam arrest user.

All emails are accessible in your "unverified" folder. If I am expecting an auto-generated email I'll check it and authorize it.

Very simple. And no more spam.
