That would be my point.

GFY is a court of sorts. Perhaps not a legal one but people are tried and convicted on these very pages every day.
I would agree, a "Court of Peers".

I also think Smokey made a good point, thread title and subject could have leaned more toward "an un-named sponsor seems to have a problem reporting my sales, what do you guys think, and what should I do to resolve the issue?" or something like that.

exactly , but sponsor's and courts dont deal in INTENT they deal with RULES.

The simple fact is , almost no sponsor allows such a test without prior notification ( thus making the test signup useless i.e. shave turn off )

All sponsors should allow a test signup as long as the affiliate notifies the sponsor within 48 hours of the "test"

I know of several "anti-fraud" related software some affiliates use that would explain why this guy did not get the trial signup go through on his affiliate account.

no i would have def named the sponsor. but mine would have looked like this..

---------------------------------------------------
THREAD TITLE

TRIPLEXCASH WTF IS UP ????

THREAD DETAILS

etc etc etc..

cant get an answer on the triplexcash forum and hopefully get an answer here

Most likely the sponsor ( in most cases ) can point out exactly why the user wasn't credited and the rest of gfy gets to see the outcome , and its free advertising for xxxcash from there on in..

or

The answer is shifty and people say

Not sure where you live but I am in The United States of America.

Over here we have this saying:

"Innocent until proven guilty."

Although it is not a perfect system, I believe that statement still stands true and if you don't have the backbone to stand behind that then you are a pussy.

There is no gray area here.

If this is a revshare deal, then I don't see where the affiliate broke any rules by signing up. Pay per join, perhaps a case could be made.

But at the end of the day affiliates are going to check sponsors just like sponsors check affiliates with their own fraud control methods.

With that said, the thread title could have been a bit different.

But the guy did post his phone number and his real name -- I guess, I haven't actually called him lol -- so he does seem to be rather serious about the matter.

TripleXcash has been good with me, and i have not had any problems. IF they did shave any of my sales, i wouldn't know because i was always doing well with them, and my ratio was pretty low. So, i wouldn't have any reason to go do a "test" and then notify them about it.

In this guy's situation, i just hope everything gets sorted out, and wouldn't have to go as far as court.

I then felt that I needed to test them further so I advertised on my sites that I would give surfers FREE access to my galleries if they signed up for one of the advertised sites if the surfer provides me with the username and password for verification of their signup. I received three emails notifying me of signups to a TripleXCash site but sill no sales registered. When I verified that each username and password was indeed valid I again contacted Roseanne at TripleXCash and was told those usernames were invalid. Now they are completely ignoring me.

I posted basically this same message on their discussion board but somehow the thread dissappeared and can you believe that they deleted my login?

So, as a webmaster you should 'test' your affiliate programs to ensure thay are crediting your sales as promised. TripleXCash has breached their own contract and my message to them is that if this issue is not resolved promptly I shall take them to small claims court to recover lost revenue. There is no reason why this should have happened. Now, as far as I'm concerned they cannot be trusted.

I received a telephone call earlier today from a nice gentlemen who tod me that my thread on their board caught his attention because up until recently, his conversion ratio with TripleXCash was something like 1:150 but recently it has dropped to approximately 1:975 so maybe he is having a problem to and was glad to find out about this and that he sall be conducting a test or two also. He also agrees that we are not in the business of providing free advertising.

Thanks for listening. Feel free to contact me at 559-288-4131 if you think you have been cheated to. Thank you.

More rippers!

they all fucking shave man, anyone who has their own stats/payout shaves guaranteed.

The douchebags that don't want to set the shave up right and use some shit script or ccbill no pay on rebill option seem get the most attention.

I like Triplexcash and they've been good for me for quite some time.
If a sponsor shaves I'd think they would only shave a small % not 100%.

Triple X Cash are among the most stand up guys I've ever come across in this business.

I find it very, very difficult to believe that they are shaving webmasters. I'd need concrete evidence to even consider it.

I doubt it's true.

We allow test signups at anytime. Affiliates should be paid for every sale they generate. He contacted them after doing a test signup so I don't really see how that would be a problem.

This is such bullshit.

I guess I should read the board more often. : )

I talked to him and solved his problem. There was a spot where the referal stats were showing different only for the pay per sign up referers.

We had the program people fix this and there was no issue.

I tlked to this guy myself and we solved his problem. What else can I do to help people out then answer there questions.

For this he slams us and as far s I am concerned he can take his 2 sales a week and send them somewhere else.

Well.

This guy was sending for the 30 dollar pay per sign up.

Is stats that you do not get credit for the trial.

There was a difference in the two areas. We have been adding a new mysql server and moving data bases. We caught in when the webmaster informed me.

That is just about all of it.
He also called and gave me usernames of so called members.
I asked ccbill which processes 95% of all sales and not one of them worked.
I have some icq histories with them to back it up. I am sure they would be more and happy to verify averything that I stated.

Tis is the firt time anyone has ever questioned our creditbility. It is totaly wrong to make such claims with no proof

I beg your pardon? Better watch who you're accusing of defrauding. I paid for my test - $34.95 to be exact, so why is that defrauding? I paid for my test which is NOT fraud. Please retract your statement.

Let me remind you that I signed up using my link since that is the only way I could have tested them. had I signed up using your link, then my test would have failed.

For my test TripleXCash made $34.95 for the phone call. Where is the fraud in that?

If you have any solid proof of shaving...Post it. Otherwise...STFU.
And your terms say that webmasters will be paid for sales. Let me remind you that as a webmaster I must protect my revenue. If I never had signed up using my link I would have never been alerted to the fact that you do have a problem because if you'll recall, days later I phoned you asking why my stats showed no sales when in fact I had made a sale a few days prior. You were unaware I was talking about a sale I had made and you passed the conversation off like there was no sales. Once I explained and provided you with my username you seemed shocked; I guess because you never expected that test because of what your terms say. Do you terms say this to prevent webmaster tests such as mine, or what? Besides, that specific term is unenforceable because even though the signup was made from my link, the signup was paid. I've already received and paid my telephone bill that reflects that $34.95 charge.

Now, if the signup from my link resulted in no charge to me but generated a commission then that clause would be enforceable, but since it was a paid test, what difference does it make who signs up - a random surfer or myself?

Again, it was only done to test your system in to protect my revenue to ensure you are on the up and up, and I guess it was a good thing that I did test.

Wow a real statement.

Well phone sales are like maybe1 or 2 percent. Since it takes us 30 days to get paid. We do not show it right away in the stats untill we get paid. We do this because we get a bunch of fraud running a program. Now we are going to change over to ccbill which will paya bunch sooner

Here is a good thing we never really bragged about.
We offer check sales. almost half of the check sales do not go though. They get returned by the bank all the time.
Triplexcash eats all the returns and pays the webmasters anyways.

We did the numbers and decided when we frst started to do this and never changed it.

Cheers

Again let me assure you that shaving took place with at least thre signups because I verified the logins did work. I cannot see how these three different people could have made them up.
