But the teen modelling world should be regulated more heavily I say. For one thing, why does a young teen girl need a "pay" site? They all call themselves models and promote themselves as being available for modelling work.... so wny not have a proper legitimate portfolio page up and do just that.... advertise themselves for work.

A pay site is not needed, and it brings the wrong connotation.

There is no law against the way you think, but what you do. So what does it matter who their customers are. Do you want the country you live in to be like BigBrother and control what you think also. Why does it matter who their customers are? There is nothing different from the sites listed and those beauty pagents for kids or teenage models you see in magazines.

There are already ads on the sides of buses, in magazines and billboards with teen models that pose and dress the same way. Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it any different.

I do think there is a fine line on those sites and pedo sites. But it's legal because teen modeling is legal. To make these types of sites illegal, then any teen model for a JCPenny cataloge would be illegal. Some of those sites have models that are actually 18 and just say they are a younger age.

Well, tell me what the difference is between the sites you just listed and the teenage models you see in alot of these magazine ads?

I didn't see anything different. I only looked at two sites and really didn't go through them that much. But from what I did see, I didn't see anything different than a teen beauty pagent (never been to a teen beauty pagent, so don't know for sure) would show or in most of these magazine ads with teen age models.

According to what you want changed, the photos of kids in the Wal-Mart flyer would be illegal.

I think the current laws are good and that this is more of a moral debate than anything. The only thing about this issue that set's people off is that the sites are profiting off the enjoyment of 50yo pedo's.

Take these same exact photos and put them in a legit child modeling portfolio (or even in the Wal-Mart flyer), and nobody gives a damn. So it's not really about the photos. It's about who they are targeted towards and taking the money from.

I don't support such sites, but it's obvious no new laws can be made to stop them without making legit modeling material illegal also.

There have been underage non-nude sites and the case revolved around being able to see genitalia through the clothes and that this falls under the explicit nature, it's more than just nudity, the suggestion of nudity is considered CP in the states, trust me stay away from it and you'll be fine

That's right, that even if they are clothed but posing in a pornographic way or like you say being able to see genitalia, it's against the law in most US states (don't know about other countries). But the sites that are listed, I don't see anything sexual about them. Maybe DarkJedi see something sexual in his mind, but I don't.

I do agree that people should stay away from those type of sites. Too much of a gray area both legally and morally.

I can't see these sites listed as being illegal like you say. There is nothing sexual about them that I was able to see. If they were illegal, there wouldn't be so many of them around.
