Easy way to remember when to use what: remove the "X and". Now would you call a thread containing pictures of just yourself "Me" or "I"?

Its really simple to tell when to use "I" as opposed to when to use "me". Simply remove Steph from the sentence and see what makes sense.

Right:
Steph and I went to the store.
I went to the store.

Wrong:
Steph and me went to the store.
Me went to the store.

Right:
John gave the ball to Steph and me.
John gave the ball to me.

Wrong:
John gave the ball to Steph and I.
John gave the ball to I.
