Well if you want her back you two have to talk. If you know she is insecure and your flirting bothers her then you have to tone it down. IMO trust and communication are the two most important things in a relationship.

But, I do have to take most of the blame. I started dating her just one week after breaking up with my "fiance to be". I still loved my ex and made the mistake of telling my current.
