Not sure the mix of the population at the time, but Europeans Jews made a big effort to alter the mix by immigrating to Palestine.

Now watch the news and see the biggest troublemakers are the Orthodox Jews in their black coats, hats and long hair. Very Middle Eastern or is it Middle European? Those guys look like they are straight out of Prague. Hang on thats not true, there Dads were.

Well got to go to the pictures, see you all later, sure this thread will still be here.

but paul, they're on our side so they weren't terrorists, they were freedom fighters

that's important to remember

especially when we're shooting all those <strike>freedom fighters</strike> terrorists in afghanistan, iraq, and wherever else we feel like

It is the direction your President has taken the US which we hate. No Israel does not commit terrorist attacks on the US, it does so on Palestine instead.

how silly. Is that how you see it charly? please show me the news agency pics of israel running people into gaza with a backpack of explosives.
The government of israel keeps coming to the negotiating table and palestinians keep blowing up civilians.
It's so odd yet so telling that you and your kind explain how terrorists are always right and its the modern civilizations moving forward that are wrong.

Sticky one that.

sticky for simpletons perhaps. Terrorism is terrorism. The response to terrorism is self defense. Don't like the self defense? don't commit the terror.:1orglaugh

Absolutely.
What most people fail to realise, though, is that theking is not a sentient being. It's actually a program hosted on the same server as the original version of the Patriot Act. Theking is in beta at the moment. The alpha version, codename Pathfinder, suffered a serious malfunction when its logic circuits burnt out. Strangely enough the programmers just decided to leave logic out of the loop when theking was coded.
It has been reported that the final release, codename villageidiot, is ready for release soon.

This is all in Europe, of course being a dirty American, I have spent more time in Latin America....

What about you mate?? Where have you been?

Sorry for no photos... I am at my new pad in Tampa, I do not have anything here but my laptop, and a sofa... I had to serve dinner to Serge on a folding table last night.

Wrong, if you stopped supporting Israel it would change, in time. But then you have to think what your politicians will do without the money they get from Israels backers.

The post below is in response to directfiesta.

Charly made a statement of fact...so I assume that he has researched the matter. His implication is that our Politicians would suffer great loss of campaign funding if it were not for the backers of Israel. Going under the assumtion that he researched this mattter (and did not pull it out of his ass) I would assume that he can list the names of at least some politicians that received donations from the backers of Israel...the amount received and the name of the donor.

I on the other hand have not researched who or who has not recieved donations from the backers of Israel and do not intend to research the matter. The last polls that I saw...the majority of Americans support the right of Israel to exist and Israel is just as important to Christians as it is to Jews.

FYI I am satisfied that the backers of Israel are not the driving force behind campaign funding for any politician.
Continued in next post.

Explain to me why I owe an apology.

I know, lets pay radicals to fly iran's soviet bult passenger planes loaded with explosives into civilian complexes killing innocent people... we'll call it bush-had

somehow though, I think this has already been done

ADL Colin 05-27-2003 09:38 AM

Oh, geez. I see all the same people that were predicting the bloodiest war of the century, that tens of thousands of US soldiers would die in urban combat in Fortess Baghdad, that Saddam had something up his sleeve and had learned something from the last war, that the US was heading for another Vietnam, that the US was lying about it's military progress, that the US media was conspiring to present a false view of the success of the military in the early campaign and who chose "quagmire" as the word of the month are back. Once again you are here to say "you just don't get it" and once again you are wrong.

The US' Middle East policy? You mean the US pressuring Israel, France, and Britain to sign a cease-fire with Egypt in the Suez Canal war? You mean initiating the Camp David accords that resulted in Begin and Sadat sitting down and initiating a number of historic events that resulted in a peace between Egypt and Israel ever since? You mean backing Afghanistan against the Soviets? You mean selling weapons to the Saudis? Selling weapons to the Kuwaitis? Selling weapons to the Egyptians? Defending the Kuwaitis and organizing a war where Syria, the Saudis, and Egyptians sent troops to liberate Kuwait? You mean offering to sell weapons to Middle East countries only to have them turn their backs on the US and buy Soviet weapons instead? When those same Soviet weapons and tactics were found to be utterly inferior to US training and tactics in the various Arab/Israeli wars the countries that lost blamed the US instead of asking what they themselves could have done. You mean pushing Israel to participate in new peace talks?

Can't believe you guys buy into that Nasser/Soviet/bin Laden propaganda.

Rip 05-27-2003 09:41 AM

Of course we could alwasy ask martha stewart to go over there and talk nice to those people...

right, because they don't understand that THEY are the terrorists. :thumbsup

So if a bunch of foreigners came and took over the country where you and your family had lived for centuries you would just stick your arse in the air and provide the lube?

In the Second World War they were called "The Resistance" and the Nazis dealt with them in a very brutal fashion. Any hint of resistance they would send in the tanks and soldiers.

Spot the parallel?

You have to see it from the other side as well, if you are going to come up with a coherent debate.

No you just asked me to list five and I did more than that. So you admit US politicians are taking money from supporters of another country.

All we disagree about is the effectiveness of all this money. I argue they give this money because it is effective.

You argue they give this money and it has no effect. Kind of charity.

What did you have to see a lawyer for, been caught again???

I am not from the United States, but healthcare in the US is probably the best in the world. It is not the most efficient, but if you are covered by insurance you won't get better healthcare anywhere else on average.

I guess you have not tried blue shield lately.. hehehe
