You beat Mrs. Bladewire to the punch, but mistyped the thread title:

Trump supporting crocodile eats angelic, non-threatening liberal dog.

Jim and I usually respect each other's posts, even though we disagree entirely on big issues, we have an unspoken deal. I wonder why he chose to bail on that agreement. follow the leader maybe.

People see through this line of thought when YOU create daily new threads about fake Trump supporters and then lie about people making hate threads.

You do know that - right?

I totally agree. I'm not hearing about any animal abuse charges even being considered though.

Yeah in Australia you're always supposed to report crocks sightings in areas inhabited by humans and they come and relocate them. Odd he didn't do that. Asshole

The guys a crazy Dane living an Aus who brought a island

Territory Tales: Kai Hansen, his pet crocodile Casey and living on Goat Island - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

It's a crocodile fess pit, from the looks feeding the croc and watching the dog race down to bark at it was a regular occurrence. Its not something the dog would of been trained to do, that's just a dog being a dog... followed up by a croc being a croc. ;)

Aussie swamp people, just like swamp people world wide...

btw the croc was his "pet" also hehe

encouraging and reinforcing certain behaviors is exactly what training is. He repeatedly encouraged the dog to torment the croc over years and reinforced that behavior. And no, that's not just what dogs do.

australians stood around and watched as he had his dog torment the croc, no one tried to stop it, everyone was there to see it. He even uploaded videos of it.

you don't give US swamp people a free pass but you're giving this guy one. I'm not surprised. That's the point of this thread.

I agree also she said I never trained the dog it just did it. Well you can train the dog not to do it or that thing called a leash. I saw the video this morning and it turned my stomach.

good points. Training works either way/both ways. a horrible event that happened because of the pet owner setting it up and everyone standing around watching instead of intervening and saying it's not OK.

not the dog and not the croc. the aus are to blame.

But tourists ya know they like that stuff.

Goat Island Lodge - Welcome

I'm sure he gets a visit from a few film crews and the local cops he may even be charged.

Thanks for the insight.

When I first moved to Australia I lived at the end of a canal in Broadbeach. We'd go fishing off our dock and feed the pelicans. Our neighbors had a dog that spent a lot of time in the water, playing fetch and cooling off. The first thing my kid learned in school was never swim in the canal water because if bullsharks and the rare croc! They drilled it into him so much he was afraid to swim in our pool at night, at first, for fear a croc or bullshark would jump in the pool from the canal The neighbor dog was never attacked like the one in the video below but it was always our biggest fear of having to witness that.

The video below the animal is already dead, you just see the Croc swimming with it in his mouth, filmed in a canal by a New Zealander.

why are you giving him a free pass to abuse animals just because he lives an hour from a city? aus prides itself on being "THE outback". If this happened in backwoods Louisiana USA, he'd be labeled a redneck retarded animal abuser, you certainly would not give him a free pass because he's an outback idiot.

And he's very much aus. he's lived there for 45 years and claims to be the aus crocodile king and gets aus publicity for that.

you are defending an animal abuser because he is not technically an australian but he acts australian and that's OK because he doesn't live in a city.

I took what he said as a polite way of saying the guy is the Australian equivalent of a stupid redneck.

We know rednecks, in general, treat animals like shit and give little to no value on their lives, pain & suffering. I know, I was raised redneck a good part of my childhood

In general it's true. I grew up in the sticks of Southwest Washington. I'm not going into the things I've seen, and done , before I knew better. But yeah in general the lives & suffering of animals are of little concern to most rednecks. Snaring animals , eh I'm not going into everything bad memories.

BTW I'm not saying rednecks are bad people, for the most part the way they look at, and treat, animals is not as kind and compassionate as it could be.

i never witnessed any widespread animal abuse growing up in southeast texas and louisiana. I sometimes read about dog abuse and animal abuse or saw it on the news at times.

I tend to disagree with making sweeping generalizations about large swaths of people. they're always proven to be unfounded.

besides, if what you are saying is true, it would have been revealed by now that the entire south is animal abusers and there would be plenty of evidence that animal abuse in the south is exponentially worse than any where else. we know that's not true.

redneck is not bad by nature.

If you look at his site, his phone number is clearly displayed, maybe call him up and express your feelings ok.

just off the top of my head:

1. he's your fellow countryman, you're the one that doesn't give a shit about animal abuse and the one who should be making phone calls. but you don't.

2. i'm not a psycho stalker.

3. the problem is you and aus authorities giving this guy a free pass, me calling him up and pointing out he's an animal abuser wouldn't work when you and the rest give him a free pass to abuse animals.

4. vigilante justice never crossed my mind, it's odd you thought of it for me when you're the one that lives there.

besides, if what you are saying is true, it would have been revealed by now that the entire south is animal abusers and there would be plenty of evidence that animal abuse in the south is exponentially worse than any where else. we know that's not true.

redneck is not bad by nature.
I said in general, not all.

Rednecks aren't bad people, I really like the lifestyle and have been contemplating moving back to the country after living the beach lifestyle for 20 years now.

In general rednecks look at the lives & suffering of animals as of little consequence.

I had a couple paper routes I did every morning and night, for years. I often found half alive mice on the doorstep of a particular house in the morning that I'd sometimes take home and try to nurture back to health. I did the same with baby rabbits, squirrels & birds. I mostly witnessed harsh cruelty to wildlife & pets by friends, family & strangers. A lot of really bad memories burned into my head of drowning baby rabbits throwing rocks at birds throwing cats into oncoming traffic, making dogs fight and a hell of a lot of other shit. In general the lives and suffering of animals is of little consequence.

i've been looking for research on animal abuse by state and it appears there is nothing available.

I'm not discounting your anecdotal experiences. I'd prefer seeing the numbers that prove it's in general though.

In general rednecks see animals as food, workers, pests or something to kill for fur. Look how animals in slaughter houses are treated & killed. Look at how animals are snared for fur and suffer for days with their paw snared before they are clubbed to death to avoid damaging the fur. I could give you countless more first hand experience examples, beaver traps etc . You know this if you were raised redneck. If you haven't experienced these things you were likely raised in the suburbs bordering the sticks and not actually redneck lol

The idea situation will be they lock him up, give him 20 years or something like a good public flogging, then close the island down and who knows they may. The only customers are fishermen and tourist looking for a "crocodile" experience. I don't know if I call it animal abuse, more owner stupidity, if you look at the videos dog seems well loved, just no one thought about the consequences.

Here in the city I watch dog owners all summer letting there dogs swim.. in a shark known areas. Stupidity is not an American only thing you know, just population wise you have a lot more stupids than us ;)

you're talking to a redneck about what you think it's like being a redneck. also, you're referring to hillbillies, not rednecks.

Also I didn't discount your personal experience, I respected it. I'd appreciate it if you would do the same with mine.

I'm glad to see you make this post. You do know USA and aus are tied in IQ by country? I don't really see the validity in arguing that population wise we have more dumbs. Using that logic, the entire planet has more dumbs than aus, that doesn't make aus smart.

Excellent point. I'm likely borderline hillbilly / redneck. My grandma used to have a pet mountain lion she kept in a cage under her porch & let out at night to hunt, it came back every morning, she raised it since birth as an orphan. One of my goals walking through the forest as a kid was to find an orphaned crow so I could raise it and teach it to talk like one of my friends had lol
