besides, if what you are saying is true, it would have been revealed by now that the entire south is animal abusers and there would be plenty of evidence that animal abuse in the south is exponentially worse than any where else. we know that's not true.

I said in general, not all.

Rednecks aren't bad people, I really like the lifestyle and have been contemplating moving back to the country after living the beach lifestyle for 20 years now.

In general rednecks look at the lives & suffering of animals as of little consequence.

I had a couple paper routes I did every morning and night, for years. I often found half alive mice on the doorstep of a particular house in the morning that I'd sometimes take home and try to nurture back to health. I did the same with baby rabbits, squirrels & birds. I mostly witnessed harsh cruelty to wildlife & pets by friends, family & strangers. A lot of really bad memories burned into my head of drowning baby rabbits throwing rocks at birds throwing cats into oncoming traffic, making dogs fight and a hell of a lot of other shit. In general the lives and suffering of animals is of little consequence.
