New poll coming out tomorrow is showing 25% of republicans in florida are voting democrat. This could be the end for Trump as Florida is HIS only path to 270, without it he loses the whole shebang.

Even if thats true you're forgetting about registered independents. Last I heard Trump was doing quite well with them.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/fl/florida_trump_vs_clinton-5635.html

He currently has the overall lead in Florida

You mean like the Republicans have for the past eight years?

The past eight years have been amazing. We were at the lowest point we've been in during my lifetime, and the Republican party seems to want to do everything they can to prevent us from doing well. They are acting like children in the process. Instead of fixing our healthcare, they are doing everything they can to not fix it. It's their job to nominate a Supreme Court Justice, and instead they are intentionally blocking it for no reason - they've gone so far as to say they will continue blocking it through Clinton's administration in the likely event she wins the White House.

This is not politics. This is children crying when they don't get what they want.

I'm with you, but it'll never be over. Politics is a game about how hard you can bitch and whether voters agree with the way you bitch.

You're constantly talking about parties. For the millionth time, they are ran by the same establishment.

The wars in the middle east have been going on for decades, breeding ISIS, headchopping assholes who blow up western cities since a year or so. Yea it's going so great. Provoking Russia to create a completely fabricated threat which is simply non-existent, but trying so hard to get their precious WW3 threat to once again keep the citizens in check. The migrants as a result of the ongoing meddling in the middle east. Wow what a fucking success.

The worlds' tensions have never been so high in decades. Yep, it's just paradise.
Tension created by the agenda of the establishment and executed by the Hillary Clintons of this world.

Don't you see that these are all results of the establishment pulling the strings in the US and Europe? Don't you see that Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama have had the exact same general agenda? Zoom out for christ sake. Of course they push things that on a global money and power scale don't mean jack shit, like gay marriage and abortion. Those are completely meaningless topics for them, but they push it to show the complete idiots that "they are really different than that other party", while executing the exact same global agenda.

Get that sand out of your eyes for once in your life

their job is to represent people that elected them... people that elected them do not want a liberal SC judge, so clearly they are doing their job by stopping liberal judge from getting nominated...

if it was reversed, and republican president was pushing for a right leaning SC judge, wouldn't you want democrats to do whatever it takes to stop it?

If Trump's astonishingly fast rise in the polls continues for six more days at its current rate.... This motherfucker is gonna hit 88 miles an hour and you're gonna see some serious shit.

I have said for a long time now the national poll isn't that big of a deal at this point. At this point, it is all about the battleground states. Basically, Trump has to win every battleground state in order to win. If he loses even one battleground state he can't win unless he offsets that by taking a blue state away from Hillary and at this point it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Quite the opposite, in fact, Texas, Arizona, Alaska, Georgia, and South Carolina are all within 5 points. Those are all state he should be easily winning. So, in addition to having to win every battleground state, he has to hope he doesn't lose any of those states in the process.

He can win, and I think this last email announcement by the FBI might have hurt Clinton and helped him, but Trump has a serious uphill battle in front of him.

The problem with that is that when the national polls move, the polls on a state-by-state basis tend to move in tandem.

The electoral map isn't looking so hot for her any more either.

The Republicans are happy when the polls move in favor of Trump because they are more afraid of losing the House and Senate than losing to Hillary. The closer the national poll the better it is for the down ballot candidates.

Check out this site. ElectoralVote

He has all the polls, updated each day, and unless the state is an absolute tie he gives it to one or the other candidate.

When you do the math using that map it shows Trump getting 274 electoral votes if he wins every state that is a toss up.

One thing that could help Trump immensely is that in Philly there is a mass transit strike so busses, trains, subways etc are currently not running. If the strike is still going on election day a lot of voters may not be able to make it to the polls and it is too late to request an absentee ballot. The cities are Clinton's big areas so that could hurt her.

Even if we use RCP's map that shows Virgina and Pennsylvania in play, All Clinton has to do is win Pennsylvania and Florida and she wins. If she loses one of those states she still has a ton of paths to victory whereas Trump only has a few.

If I were a Trump supporter I would be excited. 10 days ago it looked like this election was over and now he is back in it. Likewise, if I were a Hillary supporter I would be worried because, to me, this is the first time in this election since the Republican convention that it has actually looked close.

So the people who elected them does't want our Supreme Court to have judges?

When a Republican president pushed their SC judge, did the Democratic party refuse to vote on it? Or threaten to shut down the government? No. That is not how politics works.

This is bullshit already. This is childish. The Republican party has already made it clear that no matter what they will not allow Clinton to pick a Supreme Court Justice. The Republican party has also made it clear they have "years of hearings and investigations" lined up to fight Clinton.

Ted Cruz has even gone so far as to say he thinks the Supreme Court will be fine with just 8 justices and we don't have to put another on the bench. Of course, I'm sure he will change his tune if Trump wins.

What is interesting to me about his stance is what happens if Clinton wins and another Supreme Court justice steps down or dies. Do we just go on with 7 then since they won't allow Clinton to appoint someone?

If Trump wins... Do we want Trump to pick the next SC Justice?

Wait, allow me to rephrase.... If Trump wins.... Would the Republican party want Trump to pick a SC Justice?

no judge is better than a judge that will rule against you on every issue... so not sure how anyone can blame Republicans for making sure that if left leaning judge gets nominated they will at least get something out of it...

Democrats got Obamacare recently, can you think of any significant legislation that Republicans have passed in recent years?

politics is really just a form of negotiating... if no agreement is reached, it's a bit foolish to say "it's those evil republican's fault!", when in reality democrats are just as much to blame...

it takes both parties working together to reach an agreement... when no agreement is reached, they BOTH failed...

They seem to be happy with the list of examples that he has come up with to show people the types of judges he would nominate. I'm sure so long as the judge was a strong conservative they will be fine with it.

What this election proves, like many in Europe, that the masses don't like the way they're being screwed.

Incomes are declining, prices rising and living standards dropping. While one small sector grows very rich and the Establishment point to the economy and say all's fine so carry of voting to be screwed.

If you want to be poorer, vote Clinton. She's part of the reason you're already poorer.
