This might have been the thing, but the sneaky pharaos built the pyramids while they were still alive; usually the first thing that they did once in power was to start building that final resting place. It's an effective legal and moral framework that is so successful, it continues to thrive today and guides BILLIONS of people in their behavior. Ancient Egypt had a very good legal system and yet, religion worked much better as it requires no policing and people on the whole, act better with no oversight.

even if there were massive amounts of manpower from slave labor, the pyramids couldn't be built in that age without some serious smarts guiding the workforce. So it's highly possible the number of people working on it was fewer than previously thought.

See you miss the actual point.. The bible specifically the old testament, was just rehashed from other stories which were told before it and used in other religions.. It's not the greatest story ever told it's a bunch of rehashed stories stolen from previous holy books.
