A boss cares very much about rest rooms for staff. Get it wrong and you lose space. Or you end up with a line outside the toilets.

If you're employing people with low skills then there's a huge pool to pick from. If you're choosing skilled people the pool is smaller and cost is higher.

In both cases an employer needs to manage and maximise the worked productivity. Having them in a line outside the toilet isn't good.

A good ergonomically planned office can increase staffs performance and pay for itself. An average worker on $50,000 a year in an office that spent $4,000 per person on furniture that will last 10 years. Needs less than 1% improvement in staff productivity to pay for the furniture. Achieving a 5% improvement is possible.

Just the floor plan can improve staffs efficiency by laying out the office in the most productive way.

We all work best where we feel at ease.

If Fabian did raise $100m to buy Manwin and doesn't have these skills he needs to learn them very very fast. Their are many courses and seminars to attend that will help you. Even to manage your two delegates.

You can't blame someone for feeling that way. History has shown that the industry does not reward those who chose to take a stand for the good of the industry- be it against tube sites, accacia, spyware, etc.

If you make a stand against something, you have to do it for your own reasons. Do it because you have morals, do it because you're subborn, do it because you are proud, but don't do it because you think you will gain more affiliates. Do it for yourself or don't do it at all. Few people back their complaints with where they send their business, and the companies that have backed spyware and tube sites have reaped the financial benefits.

I can understand someone feeling like they got burned over taking a stand against something and then not wanting to take a stand again, but just because you got burned doesn't mean you should shit on other people for chosing to make a stand of their own.

BUT, he didn't take a stand for the industry, he took a stand for himself. He didn't want to pay the license fees and thought acacia was bullshit. He got into a legal battle with them to protect himself first and foremost. Everyone else was just a by product of that.

If you really really think that I would have to micro manage the whole team, good thing you never ran a bigger company, or you would have run it against the wall...

Nathan, have you studied the amount of time the average employee (rogue or otherwise) spends in the lavatory? By requesting staff do number twos at home, you will save 4,398 man hours per week, will need less square footage and use less lavatory paper.

This could be seen as:

s/m = -14 ph

Topic is a comedy, but I used to deal with cam studios and I had a toilet paper rolls issue really! We had few rooms with models there working in shifts of x hours, day and night. Ok manwin office maybe is closed in night, and employees keep clothed and don't moan often (I assume? or?), however we calculated the toilet paper rolls per girl per hour and we was still missing toilet paper rolls every week-end, like if girls spent hours in toilet.
Finally we figured out: at least one girl was stealing the toilet paper, and bringing a roll or two home in her bag, every day.
We was purchasing a very soft (and expensive) toilet paper for the studio, that gave side effects that it was better than toilet paper this girl had at her home. We then started to buy cheap toilet paper, not so soft on her ass, and stealing stopped.
We had same issue with thea, it seemed they drink too much, instead it was a girl she put in bag before go home every end of shift. We change thea brand into cheaper and stealing stopped. In general cam studio material must be all bad, or the girls they bring it all home. Possibly can happen with some office employees too with some item, so you calculate it well but still is too few, as you not counted theft.

Fabian has been caught out talking bullshit over and over again. Even a basic question like how many toilets in the office caught him out.

He told me in an email that the sites retention is the highest in the industry. How does he know? Based on what I saw I doubt it. The content is nothing special that would keep people as members. Many sites have better.

He ridiculed my estimate for floor space. Then saw where I could confirm my estimate and changed his mind. In all my years of dealing with office installations the boss knew how many people he employed and the size of the offices. He clearly doesn't.

On a thread about conversion ratios Brazzers support rep said that if you work with them that can improve ratios. 10%, 50% or 100%? From what others posted their ratios would need to improve far far better. The way the rep was talking it sounded like they had a magic button to press. Maybe it was Fabian posting as the bullshit meter was off the scale.

I have no idea of the real size of Manwin. And neither does anyone else. Because we've had nothing solid, except the posts of a person who clearly makes mistakes when posting.

1) I tell you as much or as little about whatever the heck I want, we are not a public company, we have no reason to tell you more
2) Everyone likes different content, you clearly do not get that, do we spend a lot on it: yes; might we spend too much: also yes, but we do so to keep our producers as happy as possible. They clearly make more money than you do though ;)
3) I did not change my mind on floor space, I still think 17.25sqm is extreme, we have 14sqm per person counting everything, but I would not count everything and did not know how much you did count either... I calculated our amount based on the docs I have and get to 14 as I said (and we still have empty spots scattered around the floors, so it would be even lower when 100% filled)
4) we spend a ton of money on affiliates each month, accept it or do not, see if I care
5) You just do not get that I am neither the CEO of Manwin Canada nor do I work in that office 100% of my time, that part seems really really hard for you to get. I own the company. The difference is not that hard to grasp.

Not to defend the piracy... but Youtube did NOT do a very good job for several years. They even got sued over it, several times. Only after YEARS of working on the technology, did they reach the level they are at today. And.... the law says all that is required of Youtube (or any tube) is that they 'attempt' to improve filtering. Not stop it today, tomorrow, or next week... just 'attempt' to improve on it.

I knew my office space was about 18k sq feet, I couldn't tell you exactly what it was, I can't even tell you exactly what it cost us each month - I know it was about $25k a month, but not the exact amount. I know we had male and female bathrooms, I couldn't tell you how many stalls we had, at that I NEVER used those bathrooms, I had my own. Unless someone recently told me, I couldn't tell you how many staff we had and normally I didn't know the names of a few people.

The best part... I didn't have to know any of it. I just had to ask the person thats job was to know.

And your floor estimate was stupid - Nathan didn't build the damn building.



And really... who cares if Manwin is 5m a year, 510 or 500 million a year? It makes no difference.

I used to have an office in the USA for a non-porn business. I paid people to run every aspect of it. While I knew numbers and made the final calls, I trusted those running it to take care of everything else. I couldn't tell you anything about the office other than where it was and that I was paying for it. Ran it that way for 10 years and that was how I liked it. I sold the business and it's still running today, 20 years later, and the new owner probably couldn't tell you anything about the office either.

If Nathan is the head honcho over there, he would have too much on his plate to worry about toilets and minor details. He pays others for that. You can't micro manage everything and continue to grow. I don't know if he is who he says he is or not, but if he is, I would expect him NOT to know those little details.
