"Ramos = the new Grimshawn"

Do you know Grim Shawn?

He was run out of the industry a few years back.

Ramos reminds me of him - More intersted in the party than work.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.,

I remember GrimShawn. Great guy to party with. Well, it was fun until he started throwing furniture out of windows. The funny thing is he's been gone for years, and I can't remember who he worked for.

There is one big difference, Grimmy is AWOL. If I knew where he was, he'd be served court papers right away.

He's doing a great job on not being found by 2 skip tracer companies and cutting off all ties to his parents and former friends. No credit applications of any form in over 16 months now too. Its not easy to disappear off the grid like that.

That's an awful lot to lose over a small amount of money. Yes I know it wasn't exactly "small", but in the grand scheme of life it was small. It would take a LOT of fucking money to make me disappear, I don't know if there is even an amount that would do it.

Any possibility he's dead?

Chances are from what my skip tracers say he's living outside of the USA. I'm surprised anyone would cut off everyone they know for that little sum of money in my opinion.

That would be my bet as well...

If you could ever get a hold of him when he is outside of the US it would be either a coincidence or quite expensive but rest assured, one way or another he will leave a trace wherever he is - it's just a matter of time and if you pick it up

As for cutting ties... it's not that hard and there are some nice places to move to and disappear on this planet - if he left by plane with his US passport, there has to be a trace - maybe start looking there? Just an idea.

I have a pretty good idea he's living in Western Canada with his gf and child (yeah, weird what people can find). Unfortunately running her name against the skiptracers wouldn't be legal...

you obviously didnt think this one out.

stealing from people and depending on what type you stole it from can get you beat up or killed no matter what the amount.

i know if it was me, he would at least have his legs or arms broken for stealing 10g.

You're right. I should have thought it through better. Charles just may whip out his 9mm and pop a couple caps in 'ol Grimmy's skull.

Thats good, at least you know where to look. It actually has to suck bigtime for him to hide like that, makes you wonder if your 10 grand is all that he is worrying about, guess there has to be more to it.

Since you're in CA and he is obviously in CA under his GF's name, is there no telephone-book, or a register of residence in case you have her name? A call or letter to the register of residence (thats what its called in germany, no idea what it is in CA) often does wonders...

Anyways, good luck getting back what he owes you with interest... or anything at all

I have a pretty good feeling he is still here. Different board name, but he's here.

Yeah, that's why I'm not spending any more to pursue it. If he shows up, great, if not, he better keep hiding. I'm not going to hire another skip tracer to keep searching. Chances are he's broke as fuck anyways.
