Anyone know how to remove a Boot off a Car ? MY friends car just got booted but it's a a mistake by the city and he can't find the receipt for all the tickets he paid.

Quite a bit. The real problem is, that by destroying the city's property .. You would be comitting a criminal offense: Destruction of property

a machine shop would have the right equipment to cut it off, but if you do it in the street and a police cruiser happens by your ass is grass.

better tow it away first, then cut it off.

or just straighten out the fine with the city.

One of my old roommates had a boot put on his car at a parking lot in Canada. We couldn't believe it. We actually called the police, who told us, we should pay the "fine" imposed by the parking lot. What happened to us was in a private parking lot. It was surprising, because I've never seen a boot used in Western Canada my entire life, other than this London Drugs parking lot.
