Complete newb to the adult web industry

Hi all,

I have experience with coding, designing, and webmastering websites, and I have an adult domain which has nothing on at the moment. It's Google PR 3, and has been for quite some time. I envisioned it being a blog, as it has the word blog in the domain, except I've no idea how to go about everything.

I have wordpress installed on it (not sure if this is a good choice)
some similar websites I found are: dailybabesblog.info, babeblog.ca and mybabeblog.com

When I first saw those sites I assumed they were manually updated with pictures and galleries etc. However I hear now you can just get RSS feeds to fill your blog with content?
Is it really this easy, basically I just set up an rss feed and sit back and watch it fill with new content everyday? Or is that just for TGP's? If so what about blogs?
I'm kinda confused, not really sure whereabouts I earn money in all this, do I choose a site and click their generic "webmasters click here and earn $$$" banner, sign up and away I go?

Also if it makes any difference, I live in the UK, and my server is in the US (Texas specifically), am I likely to ever get fucked over by 2257 or anything if I went through with this site?

Thanks a lot for any answers and advice on what the hell I should do

try RealSexCash first (click the link above). they have the best RSS blog feeds and viki has a tutorial on the site that answers all of your questions (it deals with wordpress specifically)

You can use RSS feeds for a blog but a lot of times that will only get you a supplemental listing in a search engine as you are reproducing exactly what someone else already did. One thing you can do with RSS is pull in the feeds then go back to your blogs admin and edit the posts making the text mostly original.

Find a blog you like, get a handle on what you want yours to do (posting style, layout of posts, keywords to target, etc.), and make a few of your own posts each day. You can get free themes for your blog at http://www.alexking.org/software/wor...me_browser.php (but make sure they are compatible with your version of WP) or you can buy one designed for adult sites at http://www.xlabor.com/themes/order.php - they will even do a custom one for you too.

Once you have it setup find other blogs in the same niche as yours and set up link trades. You will find some blogs even run a trade script and actively trade traffic. If you want to do this I'd say use AT3 from arrow scripts becasue it is a very good script and FREE.

Good luck!!

You can use RSS and have a daily updated blog, but think about how many other people would be using the same feeds as you.... Do you want your site spouting the same content as tonnes of others? Also some RSS feeds are downright shit, they don't fit in with the scheme of your sites, some are leaky, bad spellings, some dodgy ones don't always include ref codes etc..
So be careful when choosing feeds.

It shouldn't take too long to update a blog daily. Maybe you could do a mix of both, manual posts with rss feeds down the side bars? With scripts like wordpress you can write up a load of content as drafts and post it whenever..

You're not likely to ever get fucked over by 2257, though if you do have some questionable content, your hosts may be asked whether documents are available. If you're using US sponsors, be sure they have 2257 docs available, the majority do so it shouldn't be a problem.

Blogs are great for search engine traffic, so you should do well, pretty easily!!

alright im kind of busy right now but ill explain one aspect of it to you real quick and maybe i'll have time to elaborate on the rest later. first off, lets lay all off the cards out on the table. zippedsites, by definition, is a big online pyramid scheme. didnt say there is necessarily anything wrong with that just pointing out the facts. second, the fact that the way it operates (according to its own admission on its about page in its site) inr regards to downstream referral commissions is contradictory to the way most programs operate. also, on a side note (to zippedsites) if you want to make visitors to your site more comfortable with your operation you may want to use correct spelling and grammar. makes it look more legit and professional.

here's a question: lets say a program has a two-tier referral structure and you sign up for it through zippedsites. you refer a webmaster and he refers a whale. what happens to the referral commissions at that point?

Not to busy to trash a program you don't seem to understand to well. How the referral program works depends on how the particular sponsor referral program works. So if you trash that, then you're trashing each sponsor's webmaster referral program. Noone takes anyone's money.

Help and tools are free, the support forums are free, those who want to give a little back are also free to signup to some sponsors, no one asks em to, no one checks if they did, and no one is there to "take anyone's money".

Let's hear from you. ( I doubt we will ).

Yeah I've got 16 webmasters under me on Zipped Sites although not all of them are taking the time to push traffic to their sites, I certainly can't complain

Directly from the FAQ

Zipped Sites is based 100% on webmasters referrals.
Think of Zipped Sites as webmaster "A"
You as webmaster "B"
"B" refers "C", "D" and "E".
They make money, webmaster "B" gets 5 to 10% of that.
We as webmaster "A" get 5 to 10% of all sponsor programs webmaster "B" signed up with through Zipped Sites.

THEREFORE, webmaster C/D/E will only get 90% of referral commissions. THEREFORE, "somebody else is taking my money"

I think you also need to go back to webmaster school.
Try going to one of your sponsors and reading their Webmaster Referral section.
The 5 to 10% that Zipped Sites makes off of a referred webmasters sales is PAID by the Sponsor. Nothing is taken away from the webmaster.

you thought wrong.

first off i never said anyone took anyones money. i said someone is giving up a cut off their money; those of us that aren't illiterate know the difference. also i dont recall ever trashing your program, if i were you would know it. try reading the rest of that response. lets try this again

from the ZippedSites FAQ:
Quote:
If Webmasters C, D and E recruit their own webmasters, all of the webmasters above the new referrals (A, B, C, D and E in this case) will receive overrides on the "downline" recruits.
would you mind defining: "overrides on the downline recruits"?

Got me confused. I'd sure not want to let anyone to take a cut of MY money, would you? I'm sure most people reading that would understand it the way I did. Now, seems you didn't mean it the way it seemed to me ( and a few others, so we must all be "illiterate" I guess? ). Whatever. Call me what you like, I'll try to address the question.

The passage you're talking about is taken from click cash. Every sponsor potentially has a different webmaster program, so those interested should go read the webmaster program for that sponsor. Some stop the downline after one level, for others it goes on. For those who carry it beyond the first level, all it means is that the 5% or 10% is paid on the earnings of the webmaster at the level below, which may include income from his downline recruits.

It's a subtle difference, as the income from lower levels quickly diminishes, but if the number of webmasters at lower levels is big enough, then it would make a difference.

I'm still confused by how anyone is "giving up a cut off their money" ( or "giving up a a cut OF their money" ), so further enlightenment in simple terms would help us all. And who exactly is taking this "cut".
