You can use RSS and have a daily updated blog, but think about how many other people would be using the same feeds as you.... Do you want your site spouting the same content as tonnes of others? Also some RSS feeds are downright shit, they don't fit in with the scheme of your sites, some are leaky, bad spellings, some dodgy ones don't always include ref codes etc..
So be careful when choosing feeds.

It shouldn't take too long to update a blog daily. Maybe you could do a mix of both, manual posts with rss feeds down the side bars? With scripts like wordpress you can write up a load of content as drafts and post it whenever..

You're not likely to ever get fucked over by 2257, though if you do have some questionable content, your hosts may be asked whether documents are available. If you're using US sponsors, be sure they have 2257 docs available, the majority do so it shouldn't be a problem.

Blogs are great for search engine traffic, so you should do well, pretty easily!!
