Hi Guys,

Currently got NaughtyRob and TempleLightDave on a regular basis.
I'm also interested in getting more exclusive rate production work in the amateur/exgf/wives niches.

I've got a rough budget of about $150 for a video and picture set combo.

I'm looking to do minimum order sizes with a selection of girls for 2 picture sets 2 videos as testers (paid of course).

Hardcore is required (toys) and POV stuff is a bonus.

Let me know if this is something you can complete for me.

People who have contacted me in the past and we ain't working together can contact me again as I didn't have the same budget available to purchase so much content.

I have mailed you but didnt see the exclusive bit... I find it hard anyone can shoot those levels for $150 ! Unless they're shooting crack whores...

It's easy if you want/need the work. The days of a camera guy keeping 5x the model's rate are long gone.

No offense we all know how to do it... but should we be doing it ! It's called belittleing the product (probably spelt that wrong !) I understand the content market is hard, so many people out there doing it... espeically those eastern european lot !

The simple way to do it is every time you get a girl in shoot a couple scenes at the end of an existing shoot, and skim them off to offer to the guy who only wants to pay $150 for an exclusive set...

But a price war hurts the industry, turns it into a who can do it cheapest... and thats one I wont get into... We dont mass sell our stuff, we sell it in semi exclusive packages... with limited licenses... you wont see it on hundreads let alone thousands of sites...

But there still needs to be some sort of line... and IMO selling exclusivfe for $150 is a dangerously low line... but hey for those who can do it good luck...

I can find girls, a set, for $300 per scene (solo). Order 2 vids for $600 and I could possible hook ya up. Basically, double your asking price and we may have something to work with ;)

Stop paying people by the scene and start paying them by the day, week, trip. They end up with a bigger paycheck from me than most any producer. If you need any more help - my consulting fees are $300 an hour.

We do pay by the day... I have never ever paid by scene. However I still think $150 for a video and pic set is way too low... by the posts in here, so do most other content providers... but hey as I said if someone can do it for that then good luck to them... their profit line must be real low. :Oh crap

1. The bit about us paying a day rate, well thats 100% true !

2. Other content providers agreeing $150 a scene is too low... well reading back more content providers (especially the better ones) have posted it's too low, only 1 or 2 seem desperate enough to shoot for that low a rate... so I guess I am right on that one too ;)

3. The $150 rate being too low... well that is IMO... and I am entitled to that right ? As Mmcfadden said you can only shoot so many hard solo scenes... 3 or 4 at best in a days shoot, so if your going to sell them exclusive at $150 a pop thats a whole $600... if you see a profit in that then indeed party on Garth !

How about I buy exclusive hard solo and POV scenes off you for $150 a pop then sell them on at $300 yay... I will be a millionaire Rodney...

All I'm gonna say more is this: Joe Gerard "How to sell anything to anyone" - great book. Re-reading it right now. Recomended reading. I also sugest you watch the movie Glenn Gary Glenn Ross. And stop negative thinking and try to figure out "How to" do it.

So after reading the book exclusive content should be 150? You do know that if you don't get every single shoot possible you will be thrown from the production world into a pack of hungry wolves... right?

Peter me and you have no history and I dont wish us too... however just so you know, before I come into this industry... pre 2001, I run a sales team of 21 people selling ad space, so I feel like I have a little sales knowledge...

You posted in another thread where a guy wanted HD content... your ending sentence to him was "I can shoot it at a price you can afford" so if he now says he can only afford $10 a scene what are you going to say ? You said you can do it for what he can afford right... ???

If I was a buyer I would want to know how you know you can do it for what I can afford, seeing you have no idea what budget I have... this to me is a weak start to the good old "how much you want to pay/ how much you offering game" this would tell me I could get a really cheap deal...

It's like starting off a pitch with "I can give you a good discount" when the client hasnt asked for a discount...

I honestly believe you could teach me a lot about taking pictures, I think your work is really good... however you teaching me about sales... hmmmm probably not. But anyways as I have said all along, for those who can do it at $150 a pop, good luck :thumbsup

I can teach you alot about sales. I'm bar none one of the best salesmen you will ever know. But this thread is about getting a new client for me - not about a scene for $150. I never agreed to that. I just said I know how to do it. You can always talk to me via ICQ but I'm not going to give everything away on GFY for free - I have groceries to buy to feed my family. I like shooting, and I'm not just a photographer, I'm also a webmaster.

Well it's nice that this thread got that much attention.

I've been contacted by several producers for work at this rate (with a minimum spend of course). Plus I have 4 producers who currently operate at this level for me 2 of which I did mention in my post.

If you can't afford to do it at the rate I asked then just don't get involved because I'm not going to pay more when I have 4 producers on the go and others who are interested in the work.

It's a sad reflection on the industry when sponsors will or can only afford to pay $150 a scene and shooters are prepared to work for that little.

We used to shoot a magazine version of exgf content for magazines. They called it "Readers Wives" content. It was easy, we only shot stills. Shoot 10 minutes + 25 pics, shoot 10 girls on a casting and I can see how it would work for those shooting for Fiddler.

Fiddler takes what girls who turn up so gets a good mix, ugly to hot.

The downside is, if $1500 is the best you can make from 10 scenes in a day, video and set, you're doing something very wrong. If that's all the sponsor can/will pay he's also doing something very wrong.
