BoyAlley, were you ABUSED as a child?
Almost a certain fact inside the scientific community is that homosexual
behavior start to build up after an abuse as a child. This is particularly true among men, so im curious to hear what's your origin. Abuse dont necessarily means physical, as in a rape, but can also be an overwhelming mother cutting your relations with other persons of the same sex, etc. I know you probably have it deep buried into your conscience... I dont blame you, traumatic moments end there. It's our brain self-preservation mechanism. But Im confident we can get you to talk about it. :) |
I thought it had something to do with priests?!?
|
#1 BoyAlley probably isnt really homosexual its a board personality
#2 Most homosexuals would never admit the fact that you are probably right :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

This theories of yours are the ones being pushed by Christian Evangelicals. If you watched CNN last night you could see these freak groups right before the segment about the XXX Church freaks. These Christian "scientists" are of the same variety that will try to convince you that the earth is only 6,000 years old, evolution is false, and humans and dinosaurs roamed the earth at the same time. The scientific community, including the American Psychiatric Association, The American Medical Association, and dozens of other professional scientific trade groups, all disavow those christian theories as bullshit. It's nature, not nurture. |

Besides, i couldnt care less about those Christian groups you mention. Im agnostic myself. But the good thing about our conscience, as Freud said, is that we can never lie to us 100%... deep inside, no matter how much we try to hide it, we know it. |

Besides, im not passing a judgment.
And you, by your reply, are taking a defensive stand. That's so typical from a Christian education... the origin of an act defines the "good" or "bad" of it. So, you are making the logic that if your sexual choice came from birth (ie nature) its good, no sin attached. But if it originated from a bad act (ie a physical abuse) then its a sin. If you dont care about christianism, you need to brake that logic. |
SteppenWolf, have you been hanging out with these peeps:

* NOTE: im following your logic * Now you replied to the hetero man defying you, with an implication that he is gay too, or has hidden gay feelings. As you want to avoid the question and discredit me, you imply homosexuality. Thus you, in your subconscience, still relate your homosexuality as a sin. Thus, it was originated from a sin, thus you were abused. |
well they say its hereditary ...

Why is people always trying to hit on you alley? there most be a good reason for that. Maybe they feel envy for the way you are. nobody is 100% sure if you're gay or not and you don't even fucking care what they think! My message to them "Get out of the closet"

I reply with jokes to ridicule you. There's a difference breeder! PS: From my personal experience, VAST majority of "straight men" that openly defy homosexuals have, themselves, problems with facing their own sexuality. Perhaps you'd be better served spending your efforts exploring that. People like Ted Haggard are perfect examples. :2 cents: |

1. I never passed a judgment about homosexuality itself. By your defensive stand, you are asuming im taking homos as bad people or a bad thing. 2. I started the thread cause i believe the logic (homosexuality = child + abuse) and I was interested in hear your opinion (and i was sure you were going to reply like you did) 3. I believe christian fanatics are psychos. Religion NEVER goes along with science. 4. I never defyied you. I implied you understood that. But, your joke about me, like you said was to make me look like i have gay tendencies. 5. So... my logic still stands: You joke with me as im gay -> Thus you, in your subconscience, still relate your homosexuality as a sin -> Thus, it was originated from a sin -> thus you were abused. |

so that would make boyalley gay x10 |

Why do people have such a problem with gays? I have many friends who are gay and they are terrific people. They don't bother anyone. |

And you should read everything before posting BS. |
This thread has to be making someone's elbow itch.
|
It's really pathetic when the "wannabes" come on the board and decide to post something that they hope will hit people's hot buttons.
Steppenwolf..you say you are not attacking, yet in your first post in this thread you said: "Almost a certain fact inside the scientific community is that homosexual behavior start to build up after an abuse as a child." That is such bullshit with no scientific backing..yet you throw it out as a fact and try to stir things up. Don't act like you're not being negative about homsexuality, because you are. |

so if boy alley fucked a woman....and they had a son....would he be gay?
its one of lifes most difficult questions. |

And regarding scientific evidence, let me start by building the nurture case with this: Studies performed over the last several decades have found that gay men tend to have a greater number of older male siblings than do straight men. In a recent analysis of data from 14 studies involving 10,000 individuals, a group led by Ray Blanchard, a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto, determined that a large number of older brothers is a significant predictor of male homosexuality [24][25]. 24 - Blanchard, R. 2004. Quantitative and theoretical analyses of the relation between older brothers and homosexuality in men. Journal of Theoretical Biology. 230: 173-87. 25 - Blanchard, R. and L. Ellis. 2001.
