it would be great :thumbsup besides, if US would want to do it, it could be done very easily, and believe me most countries would follow the path. How? Simply disallow porn without the need of CC or any other kind of payment which connotes proof of age (sorry, no dialers). Then, a law that blocks traffic from any ISP and hosts in any place in the world providing porn without this proof of age. Big business for everybody, no more free porn and God and holy ghost selling porn like mad and NOT TO KIDS :thumbsup But I really doubt this will ever happen :(

I don't understand one thing about that law. What is the illegal part? I mean, is it illegal to have the site hosted on a server which is in the US or is the making of the site of a person that lives in the US illegal?

that would really suck for me since free sites is how i make my money but i think it would effect EVERYONE. so much traffic to sponsors comes from SE and TGP's and free sites. imagine if that was all gone. i don't really see it happening tho, the net is international, not something the US owns. they can't force all countries to impose such a law.

no, its more like ppl won't know where to find the beer anymore. if all major avenues that paysites use to advertise disappear...where will traffic come from? if a free 'site' consists of ANY page with adult images or language, then all adult SE traffic is gone, no? all link lists, all tgp's. sex.com will have to be behind a wall that can only be accessed with a CC, no?

They want to make sites with no age verification illegal, yet there's no way to verify the age of a surfer (as per Visa's ruling about using credit cards as a means of age verification). So technically, wouldn't that make all adult sites in the US illegal?
