Let me show you how GTS screws over webmasters
 

A small % of the people buying at GTS and Submitpasses buy all their good stuff. With all i mean a few accounts that are worth it. Those spots/passes are sold out all the time for reason. The rest is shit. Thats how they make their real money. Selling to noobs and people who fall for their sneaky tricks. Like lying on the site about traffic numbers and coming to the boards saying things like:
We bought some of our own spots last month and look, we made 10k from those: Insert screenshot. Hit me up now and i'll make you a great deal. And with great deal he means i'm gonna sell you all my shit left overs for 50% off so you think you just made a killer deal but the truth is that spot or pass will send so little traffic you won't even make your money back.

The majority of their spots or submit passes aren't able to send you enough traffic to make your money back or even better make profit. When you ask about it they will tell you your gallery sucks (their standard defense) but if you look at your stats you will notice that gallery simply did not get any traffic. Or at least not enough traffic to make sales.

Last year a buddy of mine bought a Video Post spot for 2k. Hardly any traffic. You'd had to convert 1:30 to make your money back. I was amazed it was so little traffic as GTS mentioned something like 700k uniques or so.
I look up their stats and guess what it was something like 300 or 350k He paid 2000 dollars for that! Basically he got screwed for 1k
I bring it to the boards. Get told to fuck off by them and a week later they make an anouncement that Video Post spots are $500 or whatever cheaper and they adjusted the uniques on their site. See, that's how they work. Don't think they don't know about those numbers, they just leave them on the site till someone mentions it. And then it's like "our bad, we uploaded an old page from 2 years ago".

Now for those who need some facts:

According to GTS:
Madthumbs recieves on average of 824,708 unique visitors daily.
Madthumbs Uniques according to Sextracker: 537,764

According to GTS:
Mark's Bookmarks recieves on average of 638,000 uniques per day.
Mark's Bookmarks Uniques according to Sextracker: 466,240

Video-Post
GTS: 332,412
Sextracker: 128,673

Let's not forget here you're getting screwed for over 50 fucking % when you buy a video post spot for example. Which is insane. You buy a THOUSAND dollar spot and are told the site gets 332k uniques while in reality they get 128k! Thats not just a minor detail. Think about it.

I think it's amazing that this is happening right under our nose and nobody says a thing about it. We go crazy when someone like cockroach Jimthefiend scams some people for a total of 2000 dollars but thats totally fucking nothing compared to how GTS operates.

I forgot to mention something that makes thing even worse. Many of those sites skim those gallery spots. So that lowers the chance of getting some traffic even more. You don't see them mention that on GTS. While they should.

if you argue with a gts/submitpass rep they will cancel your account which will hurt webmasters profits who use them.

think about it..

cheating? no.

lying? no.

arguing? yes

so now all the webmasters that partner with gts/submitpasses will sell one less pass.

less profit because of an honest webmasters argument... hrm. who's best interest do the really represent? Rub gts/submitpasses the wrong way and they will damage the profit margin of their tgp/mgp partners to make a point for themselves.

if the tgp's and mgp's, who partner with gts/submitpasses, rely on submitpasses/gts to sell packages. then, everytime gts/submitpasses cancels an honest webmaster's account for arguing, they take away that pass (profit) of the tgp's/mgp's they are supposed to be selling passes for.

they choose to hurt their tgp/mgp partners profit potential to fight personal battles.

I've bought spots that didn't work out before, contacted them after a few days and told them what my issues were, and in some cases received a full refund.
Of course you have to do this after a few days, you can't let the whole month run and THEN go complain. It doesn't work that way.

Unfortunately people like you are more interested in creating drama and trying to make people look bad than you are in actually making money.

2nd, thanks to me for bringing it to the boards the price dropped a few days later and they adjusted the amount of uniques they listed for the site. Thats the only way to do it with scum like that because if you do it in private they will ignore it.

I always make a profit on video-post spots.
I never really check for quantity. quality is what matters to me and video-post has very high quality traffic. What did your buddy try to sell that he did so bad?

The point of the thread is they lie on their site about traffic numbers. Big time. There is a huge difference between a 300k and a 150k site. It means you get ripped off for 50%. You pay a certain amount for a 300k site and not a 150k site.

I'm not sure why i'm explaining this again.

Waiting for Phoenix to come in to tell Mark "not to listen to the haters" also ignoring everything else.

I recently spent just over 8k on traffic, I was gonna invest in 5k with GTS, but I did some searches, and nothing but negative stuff has been said about them.

Hey Franck, I have access to the numbers on madthumbs and they are definitely a lot higher than what sextracker is posting. I am going off atx and actual server stats.

Btw, are you talking about top 10 spots or submit passes. A year or 2 or 3 ago i had a submit pass there and it was really good. Really worth the money but then the site also had 4 times more traffic as it has now. I'm not sure how you can make profit from a top 10 spot there. Actually, now it's 1k (but also less traffic) but when my buddy bought the spot it was 2k. And you ask me what did he try to sell. That doesnt really matter because the clicks to the gallery itself were just not enough to make any profit. Unless the site pays 100 pps or rebills for 6 months or converts 1:30 or so.

Based on that i think it was near impossible to make profit during that time. It might have changed now.

If anyone has questions or concerns about the traffic numbers that are posted on GTS please contact anyone of our sales people or me directly. Traffic fluxuations happen everyday, we try our best to keep up with the updates but when you have over 100 sites to sell advertising for you would need a full time person just to check sites and do updates. If anyone could suggest a script to do these updates for us automatically I am all ears and would love suggestions.

Franck if you spent 10% of the time you actually spent bashing on GTS and spent on your own initiatives you MIGHT actually be a successful webmaster.
