whites haven't been oppressed by blacks for hundreds of years. So they are less motivated to do any direct action in those cases. hth.

It's just sad to think that another 100 years will go by and we humans will still be hung up on such vitally important points of conflict as differences in skin color. Why haven't we formed Starfleet yet, and a one-world government... and abolished such useless things as racism, poverty, and...*cough*..'weather'.

Very much like a Dark Ages situation, but more accurately is that we have stagnated in our forward growth. I don't mean so far as technology goes, we have that out the yang, but if you look at a lot of it, its filler.

Much of it serves no purpose other than to use up (waste) free time. People talk about how it makes the more efficient, but 99% of the population is using it as a time killer. How many people do you know with a Blackberry/iPhone/smartphone who doesn't *really* use it for business?

Mention one world government and the tinfoil hat wearing people crawl out of the woodwork shouting about how bad it is.

It's my standard response to anybody black I meet who seems to think they are owed something NOW because of something that happened hundreds of years ago. Had some wonderful arguments with one of my brother's friends about it but she really is one of those people that brings trouble upon herself in calling anyone who doesn't agree with her a racist.

Don't get me started on all teachers are lazy with short days and huge holidays (sister-in-law's parents are both teachers) or anything else related to specific jobs
