My thoughts are as a few others have said- BBQ & Mac N Cheese.

I guess that's kind of black people food too, but its what I think of when I think of things that would be uniquely north american.

2-any sausage with a german name, the wider variety, the better.
3-donuts (you know ALL white people LOVE these things) at least four dozen if you're doing a decent party, and DON'T SKIMP ON THE HOLES!!!
4-and this is really the creme de resistance, the keystone of the whole thing and I cannot stress enough...
